Fitness simulators
August 22, 2017 Useful about simulators
About what is included in the concept of “fitness simulators”, what they are and for what purposes each of them is used. Exercise equipment in a fitness club is the main expense item and a central place in opening your own gym. The flow of sports fans in your establishment depends on how good your simulators are.
What makes fitness equipment different from others?
Most companies have their own line of professional fitness equipment designed specifically for gyms. Such simulators differ from home and semi-professional ones in that they are designed for round-the-clock work and can pass through themselves up to several hundred visitors a day. These trainers will withstand a lot thanks to wear-resistant materials and high strength, which are not inherent in other series. How can a manufacturer guarantee high quality? Check all the certificates that he has, without many permits and approvals, including from the State Standard and the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision, no one will release simulators on the market.
Surely, such simulators will not be cheap, but replacing them with semi-professional equipment, or even worse, with home equipment, is not safe. And after some time in the gym, home exercise equipment will look very pathetic.
What are fitness equipment
In fitness clubs, two types of simulators are usually used at once: cardio and strength simulators. Let’s consider each group in more detail.
Cardio equipment
Impact:
1) Help to lose weight
2) Train the cardiovascular and respiratory system
3) Build Endurance
4) Strengthen the muscles of the legs and buttocks
These machines are very popular among women as they are the best way to lose weight. Cardio machines are generally rarely bypassed, as they serve as a warm-up before the main program.
-
Exercise bike – all the action is aimed at developing the muscles of the legs and buttocks.
-
Treadmill – better than others helps in losing weight, improving metabolism.
-
The elliptical trainer is the safest, advised to people with diseases of the cardiovascular system. The exercise involves more muscle groups (+ upper body).
-
The stepper is the simplest and most compact simulator. The main action on the legs and buttocks.
-
The rowing machine is located at the junction of cardio and weight machines. Works virtually all major muscles.
Strength training equipment
Contribute to the build-up of muscle mass, have a directed effect on any particular muscle group. The rest of the muscles either do not work at all, or work, but only secondarily. Because of this, strength trainers are loved by men (they pump up muscles and work out the relief on them) and women who bring their problem areas into shape.
Power simulators, in turn, are divided into 3 groups:
1) Weight-block simulators – are simulators with built-in flat weights, due to the raising of which muscle contraction occurs. Weights are held by clamps, so they are as safe as possible. They also have a point effect on only one muscle group. Because of this, they are often recommended to beginners.
Among such simulators are: upper traction, leg extension, mixing-breeding legs, butterfly and others.
2) Exercise machines with free weights – in these simulators, the athlete himself loads himself with free weights (dumbbells, barbells, etc.), not only the target muscle swings here, but also those muscle groups that help to perform the exercise. Free weight machines are the best way to build muscle mass, which is why professional athletes love them. In addition, they develop coordination and endurance.
Free weight machines: Hack machine, delta machine, Smith machine with counterweight, linkage and others.
3) Bodyweight machines are one of the simplest machines. Your own body acts as a burden. They develop not only strength, but also flexibility and endurance. One of the most popular trainers.
Among them: press bars, hyperextension, Roman chair, Swedish wall
