How wireless are they?
These speakers receive audio signals wirelessly, but there are still a couple of cables to connect. You don’t have to run any wires from the front to the back of your TV room because the speakers link up wirelessly with your sound bar. They do that via the included wireless receiver modules, which must be connected to AC power. Then you attach the receiver modules to the left and right rear speakers with the included speaker wire.

Features
Bose Surround Speakers: For a fully immersive sound experience, add
the Bose Surround Speakers to the Bose
Soundbar 500,
Soundbar 700, Soundbar 900, or
SoundTouch 300 (all sold separately). Use the Bose Music app (for Apple iOS 12.0+ and Android OS 6.0+) to setup connection with the Soundbar 500, 700, or 900. Use the
SoundTouch 300’s remote control to setup its connection. Once
connected, you have a premium acoustic setup to complement the powerful
performance of the soundbar. The Bose Surround Speakers feature a single 2″
full-range driver.
Wireless Receivers: Two wireless receivers accompany the Surround
Speakers to facilitate a wireless connection to the Bose Soundbar 500, Soundbar
700, Soundbar 900, or SoundTouch 300; as well as amplification of the Surround Speakers. The wireless receivers comes with
20′ proprietary speaker
cables that connect to the Bose Surround Speakers using the included speaker
connector adapters which plug into the back of the speakers. The wireless
receivers also come with detachable 5′ AC power cords that will need to be plugged
into an AC power outlet.
Note: The wireless receivers come preset to a left and right channel out of the
box. You can use the switch on the front of the receivers to adjust the left and
right channel settings (make sure that one wireless receiver always set to left
and the other is set to right).
Mounting & Placement Options: With a wireless range of about 30′ and standing
less than 4″ high, the Bose Surround Speakers will blend nicely into your room.
The speakers should be placed behind the main listening area, one on the left
side and one on the right of the room, for optimum sound quality. They can be
placed on speaker stands (sold separately – see Accessories Tab), existing shelves, or
wall-mounted (proprietary brackets sold separately – see Accessories Tab).
Notes: To avoid wireless interference, keep other wireless
equipment 1′ to 3′ away from the wireless receivers. Place the speakers and
wireless receivers outside and away from metal cabinets, other audio/video
components and direct heat sources.
ADAPTiQ Audio Room Calibration: After you have positioned
the Bose Surround Speakers in your room, plugged them into an AC power outlet,
and connected the speakers to your Bose soundbar speaker, you’ll use the ADAPTiQ headset
(supplied with the soundbar) to auto
calibrate the system.
Optional Powered Subwoofer: In addition to the Bose Surround Speakers,
you can add the Bose
Bass Module 500 or
Bass Module 700 (both sold separately) to a compatible Bose Soundbar 500/700/900
or SoundTouch 300 for deep, thunderous bass. Either Bass Module connects
wirelessly to the soundbar speaker and has a wireless range of approximately
30′.

No, I use sanus speaker stand. They have a tape to stick the speaker to the stand. Check at sanus, the name is Adjustable Speaker Stands for Satellite Speakers up to 4 lbs
[ VICTOR Mar 05, 2022 ]
A
No, they don’t. The only way to mount them is to purchase mounting brackets from Bose.
[ George Mar 05, 2022 ]
A
They need a 110 plug but no wires to the surround bar.
[ Tom May 29, 2021 ]
A
The speakers have a signal reciver to connect them is working like wireless don’t have to connect to the soundbar. Yes is wireless for me.
[ joaquin May 29, 2021 ]
A
Yes you can. Use can use the wire and connector plugs that come with the speakers without using the wireless box. The speakers don’t come with wall mount brackets so you’ll have to purchase them separately. Offhand I don’t know the impedance of the speakers.
[ George May 22, 2021 ]
A
Yes. These have a basic red and black stranded wire input directly into the rear of the speaker. I would verify that your speaker does not overpower the smaller cube speakers.
[ PAUL May 22, 2021 ]
A
I should add that you will need to connect the powered wireless module to the other end of your in-wall wiring, which, in my case, is near the TV.
[ George Mar 14, 2021 ]
A
Yes. The wires that come with the surround speakers are two-conductor small-gauge wires. You will want to use a short length of these wires to connect to the supplied wiring plug to connect to the speakers, then connect the other end of the wire to your existing in-wall wiring. That’s how I installed my surrounds.
[ George Mar 14, 2021 ]
A
No, but you can place a floating shelf or something and have them sit on it.
[ Mark Jun 17, 2020 ]
A
Yes, I think you can purchase some wall mounts. Keep in mind for best results you want them about ear level.
[ Kevin Jun 17, 2020 ]
A
Per the Bose surround manual- Can the Bose Surround Speakers be wired to the Bose Soundbar 500 and Bose Soundbar 700?
No. The Bose Surround Speakers can only be connected wirelessly.
[ Mark Mar 19, 2019 ]
A
These are powered blue tooth speakers, so no you cannot use normal speaker wires. They are designed to work with the soundbars. These are not completely wireless, as they need to be plugged into a power outlet. You might want to look at different brands or models if you are simply looking to replace normal non powered speakers that require wire.

Audition speakers before you buy
SpeakerCompare simulates the sound of home and car speakers through your headphones. It lets you compare sonic characteristics between speakers so that you can make a more informed shopping decision.
Why selecting your headphones is important
SpeakerCompare tailors your listening experience to the exact headphones you have, so that what you hear is comparable to auditioning speakers side-by-side in person. Knowing which model headphones you’re using lets us remove any sonic coloring from your experience.
Two different listening modes
In an actual listening room, you’d find that some speakers play louder than others when fed the same amount of power. In equal power mode, you’ll hear these differences in loudness as they naturally occur between speakers.
In equal volume mode, we’ve made the loudness of each speaker about the same. This gives you a more direct comparison of subtle voicing differences between speakers.
Nothing beats listening to speakers in your space
SpeakerCompare gives you a sense of the sonic differences. But performance in the real world is affected by the acoustics of your car or home, your choice of amplification, and your source material. We still believe that the gold standard for auditioning speakers is hearing them in your own environment — that’s why we offer a 60-day money-back guarantee.
Our Listening Kit
To help you choose the right speakers, we recommend using Crutchfield’s SpeakerCompare Listening Kit. It includes a pair of studio-quality headphones, and a guide to getting the most out of your session, and a few other necessary items. We’ve carefully chosen the components of this kit to ensure a crystal-clear listening experience. It’s available for a nominal rental fee, and includes a $25 Crutchfield merchandise credit.

Audi Q3 – Bose Surround Sound, high beam assistant, tailgate closing – Part 1
Good afternoon, dear visitors of our website,
The Audi-RUS tuning studio team has completed another major project, the results of which we would like to share with you today.
Car in operation – Audi Q3.
What was implemented as part of the project:
- Installation of a Bose Surround Sound speaker system;
- High beam assistant installation;
- Engine software chip tuning;
- Closing the trunk lid with a key;
- Additional trunk lighting;
- Comprehensive car soundproofing.
Next, we want to talk about the benefits of these options and show photos of the process. If you are interested in any of the options, call the toll-free hotline and we will answer any questions about retrofitting your car.
Bose Surround Sound 9 installation0029
The Bose Surround Sound System is equipped with 14 speakers with a total output of 465 watts, including a center speaker in the dashboard and a subwoofer in the spare wheel well.
Bose Surround Sound delivers superior sound. AudioPilot noise compensation technology to adjust volume based on noise helps guide the music, making you feel like you’re always in the center of the playback. Powerful and accurate low frequency reproduction, realistic sound with natural tone and space for superior sound, excellent sound system coordination with car interior acoustics.
Original Bose Surround Sound kit for the Audi Q3.
Initially, the car had a standard sound system, which did not suit the client due to its quality.
To install a new sound system, the rear of the car was dismantled, door panels, pillars, etc. were removed.
Bose Surround Sound speakers were then installed to replace the stock speakers. In addition, we installed 1 speaker in the center console, 2 surround speakers in the C-pillars and 2 mid-range speakers in the front doors, in addition to the tweeter and woofer.
Simultaneously wired and coded RMC and Gateway unit for amplifier.
Connected a 10-channel amplifier with a total output power of 465 watts.
A subwoofer was installed in the spare wheel well for bass reproduction.
After installing the acoustic system, we made the interior soundproofing, but we will talk about this in the second report so as not to stretch this one.
As a result, we installed 14 speakers in the car, including a center speaker and a subwoofer.
Stylish speaker grilles on the doors underline the exceptional sound quality.
A design feature is the floating front speaker effect created by indirect LED lighting.
After pairing the speaker system with the infotainment multimedia device, it became possible to adjust the settings via the MMI display.
AudioPilot is noise canceling technology that controls any persistent background noise and adjusts your music so you can hear it better. This happens automatically, so there’s no need to adjust controls or turn up the volume.
The surround sound level can be adjusted via the MMI device. There are also bass and treble settings for balanced stereo playback and excellent acoustic imaging. The Bose Surround Sound speaker system delivers 5.1 surround sound (“five points one”), which is the common name for six-channel surround sound systems.
We recorded a video demonstrating how the speaker system works.
High beam assistant installation
The high beam assistant on the Audi Q3 switches the high beam headlights on/off automatically depending on the lighting conditions. To activate it, you need to set the light switch to the AUTO position, the low beam headlights must be on. To indicate that the assistant is active, the indicator lamp in the instrument cluster display will come on and the high beam headlights will turn on/off automatically.
To install the assistance system, it was necessary to replace the interior rear-view mirror with a mirror with a camera that detects light sources – for example, the headlights of oncoming vehicles. It also required encoding of the on-board network block and the Gateway block.
Before installation – mirror without camera.
After installation – a mirror with a camera.
The indicator with the letter “A” in the display indicates that the high beam assist is on.
Useful option at night. The assistant allows the driver to focus on traffic without thinking about the range of illumination. The headlights are always set to the correct light. In particular, the high beam assistant recognizes oncoming vehicles at night, automatically switching the headlights between low and high beams and making night driving less stressful.
Additional trunk hanger
The client asked us to install an additional light in the trunk, in addition to the one available light source.
Before installation – one light source.
After installation, two light sources.
There are twice as many light sources in the luggage compartment.
Closing the trunk lid with the key and from the passenger compartment
The car was already set to open the trunk lid with the key and from the passenger compartment, but it was not possible to close the trunk with the key or from the passenger compartment. We installed and coded the AR1000 unit to retrofit the car with the option to close the trunk lid with a key. You can see it clearly in the next video.
Also, our specialists performed a chip tuning of the engine with an increase in performance by 2. 0 TFSI up to 228 kW / 310 hp. at baseline 132 kW / 180 hp
This completes the basic installation of additional equipment for the Audi Q3. We also did a lot of work on the complete soundproofing of the car, but we will talk about this in the next report – a link to the second part of the report.
If you are interested in any of the presented options or have a wish to retrofit your car with original equipment, call us and we will make a good offer. We have been doing this work for more than 13 years, ensuring high quality – the equipment is installed in regular places, as if it were installed at the factory!
For all questions, call the single contact number – 8 800 250 6608 (toll-free).

In general, the problem of sound quality in flat-panel displays is still relevant, which means that soundbars are also relevant (as the simplest means of solving this problem). This test contains the most interesting, promising and simply new models of active soundbars.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
There will be no measurements this time, and the reason is very prosaic. Unlike a conventional 5.1 set, the soundbar does not produce 5.1 channel sound in the literal sense, it builds an illusion. Any illusion is in some way a deception, in this case a deception of hearing due to deliberate distortion of the frequency response, phase shifts and other ha and choacoustic effects that make us believe that sound sources are distributed throughout the room. Since the measuring complex does not obey the laws of psychoacoustics, the measurement results will not correlate with what we hear. We take the standard evaluation criteria: sound quality (subjectively), workmanship and thoughtfulness of the design under the overall rating of “design” and the quality / price ratio
BOWERS&WILKINS PANORAMA 2 RUB 89,000 BENEFITS FAULTS Sound **** * |
DESIGN
The Bowers & Wilkins Panorama 2 looks expensive, even luxurious, more money than it’s worth. The package includes two sets of tapered legs of different heights. With their help, you can put the soundbar higher or lower. And by combining pairs of legs of different heights, you can tilt the soundbar’s emission axis up or down. The package also includes a wall mount, which requires special attention, since the Bowers & Wilkins Panorama 2 is the heaviest soundbar in our test, and indeed, in my experience.
Under the Bowers & Wilkins Panorama 2 grill hides a whole battery of emitters. The center channel is powered by one Nautilus tube-loaded aluminum dome tweeter and two 75mm midrange drivers. One 75mm full-range driver each provides four channels of surround sound, and two 90mm bass drivers are built into the same cabinet. Thus, we have a full-fledged 5.1 system. To convert stereo audio tracks to surround sound, the good old and quite effective DolbyProLogicll is used.
Control is available from a small remote control or buttons on the case. As you approach the soundbar, the status indicators and button illumination on the cabinet will automatically light up. A nice little thing that distinguishes premium equipment from the usual. The information content of the indicators is limited, the volume level is not displayed in any way, the icons show only which input is on and whether the surround sound mode is used.
SOUND
Unlike its namesake Sherwood S9Sound Panorama, which has comparable overall dimensions, Bowers & Wilkins Panorama 2 sounds so solid that the need for a subwoofer can be doubted. Of course, good low-frequency support has never bothered anyone, especially in a home theater, but we must admit that this soundbar is quite capable of coping with low-frequency effects without outside help.
Bowers & Wilkins Panorama 2 is best suited for large TVs with a diagonal of 50 inches. The distance must be chosen corresponding to such a screen size – at least 2 m, and then you find yourself in a comfort zone in which the sound picture is as focused as possible. Of all the classic soundbars we tested, the Bowers & Wilkins Panorama 2 delivers the clearest and most immersive sound, which isn’t surprising given the significant price lead over potential competitors.
The effect of presence is as close as possible to what can be obtained when listening to a conventional 5.1 system of a similar quality class. On the musical material, the sound is surprisingly solid, dense, with a solid upper bass and natural solid lower mids. The Panorama 2 fits in perfectly with the Bowers & Wilkins product family and resembles the branded compact M1 shelf speakers.
BOSE CINEMATE 1SR RUB 65,990 BENEFITS FAULTS Sound * * * * |
CONSTRUCTION
The Bose logo alone, which we can see on the body of the soundbar, already evokes a number of associations. Everyone is well aware of branded 2.1 and 5.1 sets that create a very effective powerful sound with the help of miniature satellites and a compact subwoofer. The secret of the signature sound is the competent use of psychoacoustic effects. In a soundbar, such technologies simply must be, especially when it comes to Bose.
The design of the soundbar includes five emitters located on one side of it. Three of them are installed next to each other in the center, two more at a distance closer to the edge. The distance between the acoustic centers of the speakers is calculated up to a millimeter, which in itself already creates a surround sound effect, but that’s not all. Two additional speakers are hidden in the depths of the case and radiate sound to the sides with the help of long flat horns. This technology is called PhaseGuide sound radiators and is used to add additional depth and volume to the sound. But this is not the end of the story, The soundbar has a very unusual automatic calibration system called ADAPTiQ built into it. With its help, the sound can be adjusted to a specific listening place. What is typical: it does not matter whether the device is hung on the wall with emitters to the listener or placed on a stand under the TV with emitters up, in both cases the soundbar can be calibrated. The microphone used for calibration is also unusual. This is essentially not one, but two microphones mounted on the headband like headphones. As a low-frequency support, the Bose soundbar comes with a proprietary Acoustimass subwoofer, presented in a wireless version. With the soundbar, it synchronizes automatically and does not require any settings. The Bose CineMate 1 SR has analog and SPDIF inputs, no HDMI port, and no multi-channel audio decoders. As a positive moment, it is worth noting the automatic selection of the active input, as a result of which the remote control will only be needed to adjust the sound.
SOUND
Bose CineMate 1 SR impresses from the first sounds with exceptional expressiveness and liveliness of sound. The sound is very rich, lush, filling the whole room at once. Even if you move away from your listening position, you can feel the full volume of the sound without losing the quality of the sound. With all the advantages, this model is not without its drawbacks. The sound picture only at first seems detailed and saturated, in fact, any material is presented in a generalized way, without small details and with a low accuracy of localization of virtual sound sources in space. You can clearly hear the direction where the sound comes from, you can understand what, in principle, this sound emits, but the details remain behind the scenes. Bose CineMate 1 SR does the same with music. The general mood of the composition is clear, pronounced stereo effects are heard, only the main timbres and tonalities of the instruments are clearly distinguishable.
LG NB4530A $13,990 BENEFITS FAULTS Audio * * * * |
CONSTRUCTION
The LG NB4530A ultra-slim soundbar design incorporates two pairs of dual neodymium magnet oval full-range drivers included in a 2-channel configuration. The effect of volume is achieved using digital sound processing. The subwoofer has a medium size and fairly solid weight. Its 178 mm driver is located on the side surface and is covered with a metal grill, the phase inverter port is directed back. The connection with the soundbar is wireless, so the subwoofer can simply be plugged into a power outlet to make it work. If you are a happy owner of a modern LG TV of 2013, you may not need wires to connect it directly to the LG NB4530A soundbar, since the devices themselves will connect to each other via the Bluetooth wireless protocol.
The soundbar is not just an active speaker, it also has a built-in media player that allows you to play files from USB-drives. However, you should not be especially happy about this – we are talking only about support for WMA and MP3 audio files.
The package includes a special stand for installation on a plane and on a support of a branded TV, as well as a wall mount. In the latter case, the USB port becomes practically inaccessible without the use of a special extension cable included in the package. A bright text display is mounted behind a metal grill. From the place of viewing / listening, it is perfectly readable, including in the daytime.
SOUND
In general, the sound of the LG NB4530A soundbar can be described as light, slightly cool, with a lot of air and an emphasis on spatial effects. The bass does not sound particularly deep, but it is powerful and tight. For its class, surprisingly clear and collected. In most EQ modes, there is a lack of density and physicality of the sound in the low-mid region, which is felt in the dialogues, especially on low male voices. This effect is partly compensated by the Natural and 3D Sound modes, which give the timbres additional richness and fullness. 3D Sound is the most preferred among others when watching movies, because. gives the greatest volume and the greatest drama to the sound. If you choose the right (not very large) distance, you can find yourself in the center of the sound cloud, when the sound literally surrounds from all sides, while the localization and clarity of the space rendering are quite high. If you didn’t guess with the distance, only the front hemisphere will be voiced, and the rear effects will not be behind, but on the sides.
The musical abilities of the soundbar are not the most outstanding, but for background listening to music of various genres, the LG NB4530A is quite suitable. When listening to MP3s and Bluetooth-connected, the Upscale sound mode is especially useful, which allows you to compensate for the losses associated with audio stream compression.
POLK AUDIO SURROUNDBAR 5000 $26,565 BENEFITS No HDMI port Audio * * * * * |
CONSTRUCTION
Being one of the most compact sets in the test, the Polk Audio SurroundBar 5000 is perfect even for 32-37-inch TVs, although it looks good against the background of large models. The design of the soundbar is extremely simple – it has a pair of wideband emitters that, using DSP processing, reproduce multi-channel sound. The acoustic design of the emitters is bass-reflex, and the design of the bass-reflex is such that with small dimensions of the device, only the soundbar (without a subwoofer) is capable of reproducing sufficiently deep low frequencies. Nevertheless, a subwoofer is included in the kit, and not a regular one, but a wireless one. In terms of dimensions, the subwoofer is also quite compact, to match the soundbar. A small 165 mm woofer and bass reflex are directed downwards. In addition to the digital and analog inputs available on the soundbar, a Bluetooth connection with support for the AptX codec is also available. This is done primarily in order to give the opportunity to listen to music from a smartphone or tablet. However, some TVs also have the ability to connect external speakers via Bluetooth, and this method may be more convenient. The soundbar can be placed on a plane using special legs or hung on the wall under the TV on a bracket (both are included in the package).
SOUND
During operation, the room is filled with sound fairly evenly, directionality is present to a certain extent only in the vertical plane, which should be taken into account when choosing the installation location. Control is available from a proprietary remote control or using the buttons located on the device case. You can train the soundbar to obey the commands of the TV remote control. In terms of scale and proportions, the sound picture formed by the sound bar is well combined with an image up to 40-46 inches in size. The width and depth of space are horribly transmitted mainly in the front hemisphere, in front of the listener, rear effects sometimes occur, but very effectively and unexpectedly. The bass is felt as deep, powerful, which is completely impossible to assume based on the size and weight of the subwoofer. The character of the bass is very cinematic: forced, rich, moderately booming. The sound of the system as a whole is distinguished by the warmth and naturalness of the sound in the midrange. Dialogues and all natural sounds are very natural, the atmosphere is transmitted quite well, although one cannot fail to notice the lack of high frequencies and the accompanying lack of air.
Musically, the Polk Audio SurroundBar5000 performs best on modern dance music, light acoustic jazz and rock. However, almost all genres sound interesting. Lacking high resolution, the system reproduces the mid-frequency range very expressively, which allows it to convey to the listener the essence of almost any musical composition.

Inside the Sherwood S9 Sound Panorama soundbar, there are as many as three pairs of speakers: two mid/bass drivers with a diameter of 130 mm and two sets of tweeters with a diameter of 20 and 25 mm. Surround sound results from purely acoustic effects created by the combination and arrangement of drivers, as well as the original Opsodis 3D Surround sound processing technology.
In addition to its main function, the soundbar is capable of connecting to Bluetooth sources and has a built-in USB media player. The small flat remote control that comes with the kit is not particularly convenient due to the rather chaotic arrangement and small size of the buttons. Its only obvious advantage is its compactness and light weight.
The single-line text display carries a significant information load, since it is used both for configuration and for displaying a list of files stored on a USB drive. For this reason, it made sense to make its size one and a half to two times larger. However, some manufacturers do not install displays at all, not considering it necessary to somehow display the volume level. So even a small screen is already a good option.
SOUND
The rather large dimensions of the Sherwood S9 Sound Panorama allow it to confidently reproduce the lower middle and sometimes even capture the upper bass area. In general, it is worth connecting a subwoofer, and preferably two at once, because this is how you can maximize the possibilities of Opsodis 3D Surround technology.
In terms of resolution, this model is noticeably superior to Polk Audio and LG NB4530, although it is among the top three budget solutions along with them. The frequency response is raised in the upper-mid region, which allows the soundbar to reproduce well the atmosphere of the film and the fine details of the sound picture. The space is transmitted very convincingly, the sounds are heard both from the side and from behind, quite corresponding to the original sound of the test tracks. Unlike most competitors Sherwood S9Sound Panorama also gives quite tangible vertical resolution. The stock of real undistorted power is solid, it will be enough to work in a large room with screens of 50-55 inches or more.
To appreciate the musical abilities of the system, it is worth using surround sound algorithms. The 3D Stereo mode will give the sound stage the necessary width, without blurring the sound of individual instruments and without falling through the stage in depth, as surround technologies usually do.
The tone of the soundbar on the musical material is close to neutral, which allows it to reproduce any genre. There is a pronounced Hi-Fi component in the character of the sound, when the system seeks to emphasize individual nuances and details of the recording, demonstrating a high class and thoroughbred sound.

Compared to the rest of the test participants, the number of drivers involved in the model is simply colossal: as many as 22 tweeters, plus two 65 mm woofers. All 22 drivers have their own high quality digital amplifiers. The DSP processor controls the time delays for each of them individually, which allows you to focus the sound beams at the desired point in space, creating virtual sound sources.
The system can be configured in stereo, 5.1 or 7.1. To facilitate the setup procedure, the device has an automatic sound calibration system, and those who are not used to relying on electronics can set up the Yamaha YSP-4300 on their own. According to the algorithm, manual tuning is in many ways similar to setting up a regular 5.1 or 7.1 system in the AV receiver’s menu. But in this case, the procedure is much more exciting. You can arbitrarily deflect the sound beam that forms a particular channel at different angles, set the distance at which it will be located.
But if there were no complaints about the customization options, the design and translation of the device’s menu itself can hardly be described as satisfactory. There are problems with fonts and Russification.
The built-in FM tuner and USB port for direct connection of Apple devices add additional features to the system. External module Y1T-10 enables wireless switching of iPhone, iPad and even computer. Unlike competitors who have limited themselves to a basic set of multi-channel audio decoders, Yamaha developers have implemented everything in their sound projector, including DolbyTrueHD and DTS-HD, making it clear that on their sound projector you will be able to catch the difference between normal and HD sound. Another fundamental difference between this soundbar and others: the presence of a good set of control interfaces that allows you to integrate the device into a smart home system or control it using a universal remote control
SOUND
When listening to the Yamaha YSP-4300, it is difficult to detect any difference in sound compared to real satellite systems. At the same time, the sound quality is extremely high. The slightest rustle is heard in the soundtracks of films, the atmosphere is excellent, the focus and localization of objects in space is simply exceptional. And all this in a fairly wide zone of comfortable listening. The bass of the system is not particularly deep, but extremely accurate, collected, well controlled. To convert stereo to multi-channel format and give additional volume, proprietary CINEMA DSP sound processing algorithms are offered. Unlike similar Dolby algorithms, they provide a more natural and clear sound picture. Moderate addition of spatial effects allows you to get excellent results when listening to stereo recordings.

Among inexpensive models, the Sherwood S9 Sound Panorama soundbar deserved the sympathy award. It creates quite convincing surround sound and demonstrates a quality class that is much higher than you expect from devices in this price segment. The only significant complaint is some discrepancy between the overall dimensions and the depth of the reproduced bass. Comparable in size to the Bowers & Wilkins Panorama 2, the bass is much more confident. Since you cannot do without a subwoofer (and even better two), the cost of the system naturally increases by the amount that you are ready to spend on low-frequency support, and here, by the way, you should not save much.
The second winner of the sympathy prize is the Yamaha YSP-4300, This is the only device. which really managed to go beyond traditional solutions and demonstrates a high-quality, much more impressive sound. If all previous models create volume more or less similar to how full-fledged systems do, then the Yamaha YSP-4300 sound projector recreates multi-channel sound so successfully that we are not talking about similarity, but about complete identity.
