Braun Series 7 Electric Shaver Review: High-tech shaving

Verdict

With decent battery life, a relatively close shave and the ability to work well in either dry or wet conditions, the Braun Series 7 is a great all-round electric shaver that auto-adapts to hair length. It offers an impressively close shave, although I found it struggled with slightly longer hairs making it a better choice for those that shave more regularly.

Pros

  • Adapts automatically
  • Pop-out beard trimmer
  • Fast charge

Cons

  • Not so good at longer hairs

Key Features

  • Battery lifeLasts up to 50 minutes on a single charge, but can be fast-charged in just five minutes to give enough power for one shave.

  • TypeThis is a wet and dry electric shaver, so can be used in the shower.

Introduction

Sitting at the higher end of the firm’s extensive shaver range, which runs from the cheap and cheerful Series 1 all the way up to the super-premium Series 9 Pro, the Series 7 balances high-tech features with affordability.

According to Braun, the Series 7 will deliver 24,000 cuts per minute alongside three shaving elements in a 360-degree adaptive head system. And the price? The shaver has an RRP of £269.99 but can be picked up from most online retailers for almost half that price. It’s currently listed on Amazon, for instance, for just £135.

There are different versions of this product. All have the same body, as reviewed here, but you can buy the shaver with the SmartCare cleaning dock and with a beard trimmer if you need those features.

But is it really worth the price despite not being the brand’s top-performing shaver? Read on to find out how it stacks up in real life.

  • Lightweight and premium-looking
  • Handy battery display in the handle
  • A triple-cut head system with a 360-degree swivel head for a closer shave
  • Innovative beard-length auto-detection feature

Despite an all-plastic build, the Braun Series 7 has a premium and robust feel to it, although it’s light enough to move around the face with ease (weighing just 185g), which is especially handy if you like to take your time when shaving to ensure you’ve removed any stragglers.

Making this process all the more enjoyable is a rubberised grip around the body and rear of the shaver handle, which offers up a decent grip that feels comfortable.

You’ll also find an LED display on the handle of the Series 7, which is small but does the job of telling you how much battery life is left. It’ll also deliver cleaning reminders and the status of the travel lock (a feature that can be activated with a three-second press of the power button, so that the razor won’t turn on by itself in the bottom of your bag when on the go).

Another notable feature is the Series 7’s triple-cut head system, which sports two foils on either side of a central trimmer. This is mounted on the device’s 360-degree swivel head and takes care of longer hairs while ensuring a closer shave.

Performance

  • Close shave
  • Gets to hard-to-reach places
  • Could be better on longer hairs
  • 50 minutes battery life per charge

As you’d expect from a grooming tool of this calibre (and price), the Braun Series 7 offers an impressively close shave. This is thanks to the dual act of its foil blades and middle cutter, which work together to clear away both short and long hairs.

The “360-degree adaptation” feature also helps in getting around the contours of the face, even in areas that are usually quite hard to reach. This, coupled with the super smart AutoSense technology (a beard-length auto-detection feature that senses your stubble or beard density and adapts the power setting accordingly as your shave away) makes for an easy and efficient shave as you don’t have to worry about going over and over already-shaven skin. Clever stuff!

My one complaint is that this isn’t the best shaver at dealing with longer hairs, so it’s best suited to those that shave regularly.

I loved that it can work wet or dry, and I’m big fan of the beard trimmer head that pops out of the back and adds more versatility.

As for battery life, the Series 7 takes about an hour to fully charge, which offers about 50 minutes of shaving time. You can also “quick charge” for five minutes to give the shaver enough of a boost for a single shave.

Should you buy it?

Lots of features, low price: You want a quality electric shaver with high-end features but without the luxury price tag.

You’ve got longer hairs: You let your stubble grow out and shave less frequently, as this won’t do a great job at catching longer hairs.

Final Thoughts

The Braun Series 7 offers a good set of clever, high-tech tools that work well and aren’t just there for the sake of it. It’s quick to charge, easy to use and it makes daily shaving a painless and efficient. A great all-rounder that won’t disappoint, unless you tend to let your hair grow between shaves in which case the Panasonic Series 900+ may be a better choice, otherwise check out our guide to the best electric shavers.

Braun Series 7 Review (360° Flex Models) 2023

Electric Shaver Review

Last Updated on April 21, 2023

Available @ Amazon

The Braun Series 7 electric shaver is getting close to the top of the range in electric shavers in terms of both functionality and cost, and of course, performance. It made it into our short list of the best Braun shavers recommended.

This review is for the Braun Series 7 flex head version from the Series 7 range.

How many Braun Series are there, and what do the Series and Generations mean? – I shall mention this for those that are unaware of the Series that Braun offers. The series begins with number one and ends with nine, although Braun, for some reason, does not have a series 2 or 4. The Series 9 (well–9 Pro now) that I have recently reviewed is at the top end of their shavers regarding functionality and costs, and then the Series 1 is at the lower end.

Each of the series over the years, including the Series 7 have seen improvement changes (known as generations) that show Braun is always trying to make their shavers better than the last models. Most of these improvements are great; however, like most companies, they make some changes that look more like cost-cutting motives than improvements (if I notice them, I point them out).

The Braun Series 7 Flex is a very different shaver compared with the previous 7 Series, and while some people feel improvements were made, others feel differently. The previous 7 Series without the flex head can still be purchased; however, for some reason, they are more expensive.

Here are the Series 7 Flex model numbers available.

Braun Series 7 Flex Head (model 70-N**** UK/EU or 70** USA)

UK/EU 70-N1200 s (+ trimmer), 70-N7200 cc (clean & charge station + trimmer), 70-B7850 cc‘ (clean & charge station + trimmer + attachments) are all the 360° Flex Head models.

USA 7020s (+ trimmer), 7025s (+ trimmer + trimmer attachments),7027s (+ trimmer + trimmer attachments + charging stand), 7075cc (+ trimmer + cleaning & charging station),7071cc (+ trimmer + trimmer attachments + cleaning & charging station).

Each number 70-***** (UK/EU) or 70** (USA) is the exact same shaver but each one will differ in accessories and clean & charge station.

Just to confuse consumers more, or at least us that review shavers for readers – Braun uses different model numbers for that same model in various countries alongside different numbers for the accessories included.

The various models within a series can get confusing, and they differ, which is why I have mentioned all those available within the Series 7 Flex Series. The main point is the model reviewed here (Braun Series 7 70-N7850cc) is the same as the others in terms of build, motor, and performance.

The Brand – The brand ‘Braun’ was founded a 100 years ago that created their first electric shaver during the 1950s. The German-based company (a subsidiary of Procter and Gamble) is known worldwide, and just about everyone looking to buy a foil electric shaver today will see a Braun shaver as a buying option.

Description & Features

This updated Braun Series 7 has had a major makeover. The ergonomic design is more user-friendly and less bulky, and the 360° Flex Head aims to work much better at shaving comfortably along the various contours of a user’s face.

Braun Series 7 70-N7850 cc contents unboxed

Which model should I buy? If a buyer does not need or want the clean and charge station or accessories, then they can purchase the slightly cheaper model. A buyer doesn’t really save much when buying the models without attachments etc., and if there is a possibility of the attachments or cleaning & charging station being used, then it may be worth the extra bit of cash spent.

  • AutoSense Technology – This enables the shaver to sense beard density and adjust the motor to the power that is required.
  • Cutting Actions – The 7 Series offers 24’000 cutting actions per minute.
  • 360° Flex Head – This is the big feature of the new 7 series. It has the ability to adapt and move with the various contours of the face and aims to make shaving tricky areas much easier. At the moment, it is only the Braun 7 series that offers this feature.
  • Shaving Elements – This shaver has 3 flexible shaving elements/blades. Two of these are foils, and in the center there is a cutter that aims to cut hair that grows in various directions and lift up other hairs to be cut.
  • Easy Click Attachments – The shaving head can be clipped on and off for changing the head or using the attachment trimmer. The beard trimmers must be attached to the precision trimmer.
  • Wet & Dry (100% waterproof) – The Flex Head series is fully waterproof and can be used to shave either wet or dry. Users may shave with their favorite shaving, cream, soap or foam.
  • CleanCare System – This system cleans and lubricates the cassette and charges the battery. The cleaning fluid requires replacement cartridges that will need to be replaced every 3 months (longevity depends on use).
  • Charging and Battery – A fully charged battery takes up to an hour to be charged, although users can give the shaver a quick 5 minute charge for 1 or 2 shaves. A full charge will give users about 50 minutes of cordless shaving time.
  • Light Indicators – A cleaning light will indicate after using the shaver. A red cord indicator comes on when a user tries to use the shaver when it is plugged in, and another red padlock indicator comes on after holding the button (also bleeps) for a few seconds to activate the travel safety switch. There is also a battery life and foil cassette indicator (lets a user know when to replace – every 18 months).
  • Travel Safety Lock – The on/off button can be held to lock the shaver and unlock it when a person takes it on their travels.
  • Battery & Foil Checker – This generation of the Series 7 has an extra button underneath the power on/off button. When pressed, it indicates the battery charge and if the foil cassette needs replacing without switching the shaver on.
  • Warranty – Braun offers a standard 2 years warranty on shavers. If bought directly from Braun a buyer may get an extra 1 year, but it’s just a lot more expensive to buy from them and not worth it at twice the price.

How well does the Braun Series 7 360° Flex Head perform and Shave?

After using, testing, and reviewing the Series 9 not so long ago and having previous experience with the older 2nd generation of Series 7 shavers, I was intrigued to see how the Flex Head 3rd generation of Series 7 shaver would perform.

As per usual, I spent about a month using this shaver. I tried it out on 3+ days of beard growth, 1 – 2 days dry and wet (also with shaving cream), and I tested how it would head shave, although I know it is not designed for head shaving.

This shaver has consistently provided a smooth shave for an electric shaver and was the best out of many electric shavers for shaving the sideburns and chin area without leaving patches. The ease of shaving and not leaving patches is most certainly due to the Flex Head, as the Series 9 and the older generation of Series 7 could not perform as well in these areas.

Shaving with this new generation felt very much like holding the Series 5 or 6. The body is much more slimline and feels better to hold than the last series.

How was shaving daily or every 2 days? – The first, second, and third day was the best time to use this shaver, and the absolute best personally was every 2 days.

I never like to shave with any shaver or razor daily. It’s gonna cause me irritation!

How was shaving with 3 or more days growth? Three days was the limit for me. After three days, it just took too many shaving strokes, which is the case with all other electric shavers I have used.

Does it head shave very well? I know the Series 7 is not designed for head shaving; however, I always have to give it a go. I am balding and keep my hair close to the scalp or completely shaved bald, and I am always testing ways to shave my bonce in better and smoother ways.

It did a fantastic job after trimming it down with the hair clippers and no comb attachment (I used the Remington QuickCut) . However, while the design is excellent for facial shaving, it is quite tricky to use around the back of the head and takes some time to shave it all properly.

It worked much better and easier for head shaving when there were only two days of growth. Regularly using it daily or every two days to buzz around the head quickly would work.

I would stick with using an electric shaver designed for head shaving, like the Skull Shaver when using an electric type razor. They do the job so much easier, quicker, and better!

Does this shaver work well when wet-shaving?

A user really does not need to use the Braun Series 7 Flex Head wet or with shaving foam or soaps. However, it does really help to use it with shaving cream to make it more of a smoother shave.

Shaving with cream wet did make head shaving so much easier and better. It did also improve the comfort and ease of facial shaving somewhat.

A word of advice though, when wet shaving! These shavers can stick and kind of judder on the skin, if there is not enough shaving foam or cream on the skin –and a way to make this work better is to keep as much soap as needed on the skin all the time.

I’m not sure how these can be used in the shower, and when they are, a user will need to keep their head out of the shower with their head soaped up. It is great shaving in the shower, but I can’t use it with just the water running because of the juddering on the skin.

Electric shavers are about speed shaving, and the Series 7 does this well enough dry without any type of soap. Dry shaving makes the task of shaving fast and less messy.

What do you think about the Flex Head feature?

The Flex Head 360° feature was something that I had hoped to see on one of Braun’s shavers, and they introduced it to this generation of the Series 7.

I have to say I am impressed, and I know many other guys will be as well.

This makes all the difference when shaving tricky areas, including under the chin and neck, and especially the sideburns area. I even had trouble with the Braun Series 9, leaving patches on the sideburns and having to run over the same area many times, but not so with the Flex Head.

Various Movements

How about the attachable trimmer and accessories? Some users are going to be happy that the trimmer is not attached to the body, while others do not want to remove the cassette and attach the trimmer.

I had problems with the attached trimmers being able to trim my sideburns (older Series 7 and the latest Series 9). On the Series 5 and this generation of the Series 7, the attachable trimmer actually works better, although it is a slight annoyance to have to change it and clip on and off the cassette.

The beard attachment combs are useful for those that might alternate between growing a bead and needing to trim it and shaving fully at other times. These are never as good as a dedicated beard trimmer, but they do get the job done.

Braun Series 7 attachments and trimmer

Overall Shaving Experience?

I’ve gotta say this has become my number 1 electric shaver because of how comfortable it is to use, and it gets as close as any electric shaver needs to get to the skin. It beats the last generation of the Series 7 for me personally because of the ergonomics and Flex Head. Of course, other shaver like the Braun Series 9 Pro performs better, but it costs a lot more.

As always, I don’t get a shave as close as I get from a cartridge or safety razor; however, electric shavers seem to be catching up, and the ease, speed, and lack of mess are real pros when comparing them to razors.

The lack of missing areas and shaving over the sideburns many times that I have had from other Braun shavers, including the Series 9 has won me over on this Series 7 generation.

Build quality, design, and ergonomics – 9/10

The comfortable ergonomics and Flex Head 360° feature really make this generation of the series shine. The sides and back of the shaver have a rubber grip that makes holding it comfortable and non-slip.

The new additional button may be useful for checking battery charge and the cassette without switching the shaver on, and the safety lock is a very useful travel feature.

I’m not a big fan of clipping on and off the cassette as I think it is going to break or wear in time. I much prefer the press-in and release types that the Series 9 and older Series 7.

Braun states the Series 7 is built to last for seven years (it’s all about 7’s).

Cutting power – 10/10

The Series 7 offers 24’000 cutting actions per minute which is fairly powerful. You can hear the motor powering the shaver, but it isn’t too loud.

The Series 8 (30’000) and 9 (40’000) have more power; however, the Series 7 certainly feels powerful enough.

The motors AutoSense feature is said to adapt to the beard density, although I can’t say this is anything I can visually see or notice (not to say it does not).

Ease of Use – 8/10

Ease of use in terms of shaving, charging, and other aspects are great. However, the clipping feature for the cassette and changing to the trimmer is not the best. Companies often try to make a product like shavers multi-task when, in fact, that often lets users down, and they should focus on the main task.

Charging and battery life – 9/10

A user should get around an hour of runtime from a fully charged battery, and Braun states one charge will provide three weeks’ worth of shaving. I probably do get just over 3 weeks and over ten shaves which is good enough for me.

All cordless Braun shavers I have owned have had good battery life and longevity.

Cleaning and maintenance – 9/10

I was surprised to find that this new generation of Series 7 shavers had a different Charging & Cleaning station that does not offer cleaning modes, has no LED indicators, and does not automatically dry like the one that comes with the Series 9. The new station cleans just as well, and it’s not a deal-breaker, but I think Braun has done a cost-cutting thing here.

While the SmartCare Center is excellent and will clean and lubricate, a user can also clean the Series 7 by hand. A brush provided can be used to clean the inner section of the head gently (or/and blow debris out), and then the shaver can be run under a tap while it is switched on.

Brush gently and blow the debris out Rinsing under the tap

Setting up and replacing the cleaning cartridge – The cleaning cartridges are easy to place in the SmartCare Center and to replace. They should last for about 3 months before replacement, and the cartridges may be bought in packs.

Some users use the old cartridge and its lid and then add their own liquid cleaner. Braun advises against this, but then they would as they are not making money from them if consumers buy elsewhere or find a DIY hack.

Cartridge replacementSmartCare Center in use, cleaning and charging

A fresh zesty scent comes up from the cleaning dock, which can also be smelt on the shaver after.

How much do the replacement cartridges cost? Cleaning fluid cartridges usually cost around $5 USD (£4 GBP – 4 € EU) each (they cost less when bought in bigger packs). As mentioned, some users refill old cartridges with liquid that is sold online or in stores.

Replacement cassettes cost? – The cassette lasts for up to 18 months which makes the cost of replacements (approx. $40 USD, £30 GBP, 40 € EU) non-expensive. Braun’s cassettes will last longer when taken care of properly and cleaned frequently.

Value for money – 8/10

The new generation of Series 7 shavers costs around $130+ USD (£150+ GBP – 178,00 € + EU). Prices will vary and be more than these stated when including accessories like the SmartCare Center.

These are still very much on the expensive side of the scale for electric foil shavers. It does perform like a top-of-the-range shaver, so I guess they are value for money (we would all like to pay less).

Any Common Consumer Issues, Complaints, or Positive Reports?

I could not help but laugh and agree with one consumer that mentioned the very poor instruction manuals that come with the shaver, although it has multiple languages. I think Braun spends more time translating than giving clear, detailed, and concise directions.

Quite a few people have mentioned it feels very plastic.

There have been more than a few users reporting patches of hair left, which I found surprising. Despite having this issue with other shavers I found the Series 7 eliminated that with the Flex Head design.

Many users comment on how comfortable and close the shave is with this shaver and mention it is the best they have used.

User reports go from it’s the best to it’s the worst shaver ever. Most electric shavers are commented on in this manner!

Final Thoughts – and who is the Braun Series 7 Flex Head best suited for?

In a way, this would be perfect if it included the head removal buttons of the previous Series 7 and Series 9.

Some users are going to prefer the non-attached trimmer, while others won’t.

The Flex Head is a major great change, and if it was placed on the Series 9 then that shaver would be near perfect, although more pricey and less ergonomic.

Buyers that find the Series 7 within their price range and want a shaver that provides the best of what comfort and closeness an electric shaver could possibly provide should check this new generation out. Also, buyers that would like to upgrade from a cheaper shaver could benefit from upgrading to the Series 7.

If buyers would like to cut costs, then consider buying the shaver without the cleaning and charging station and the beard trimmer accessories. The Series 7 is one of the Best Braun Shavers when it comes to balancing out costs and performance.

A high-performance and comfortable shaver that gives as close as a man could get!

Alternative Shavers

The Braun Series 7 is a foil shaver that offers what most gents need for their grooming needs. However, there are alternative shavers that will be cheaper and offer less features or performance, and then there are others that may offer more features that are required.

Braun Series 5

The Series 5 from Braun is much more affordable than the Series 7, although it does not have the same features. It has much of the same design in terms of ergonomics and has three shaving elements, and a feature that is liked is the easy cleaning aspect of it without using a charge and cleaning station.

Braun Series 9

The Series 9 is at the top end of any shaver roundup in terms of costs and features. The motor is more powerful than the Series 7, and the SmartCare Center is better because it also dry cleans the shaver. This Series also had a much better method of removing the cassette, and the trimmer is attached to the shaver body.

Panasonic Arc 5

The Panasonic Arc 5 is a five-shaving element shaver that packs a punch in terms of power, even more so than the Series 9. The Series 9 and this shaver are direct competitors within the shaver market today. Buyers can reduce the costs of one of these considerably when buying one that comes with fewer features or accessories.

Comment: Bought for my son. Before that, there was also a Braun 3 series, it served 12 years. It’s time to replace the blades, but the prices for consumables are such that it’s easier to buy a new one.

Advantages: Pretty good and quick shave
Charges quickly
Enough for a long time to charge

Disadvantages: They did not provide a place for charging in the case and were greedy with a Velcro clamp to tighten the wire.
The brush from the kit is a little stupid, a short, harsh brush is missing.

Comment: I have been using it for a couple of weeks, but so far the impressions are quite pleasant.
I slightly spoiled the impression that there was nowhere to put the charge and there was nothing to pull off the wire, I rearranged the Velcro clamp from the wire from the computer mouse (that’s why they thought about it on a cheap Chinese mouse for 1500r, but on a not very cheap German razor for almost 14000 (at a discount) no?
For those who do not shave…..
If the stubble is longer than 1-2mm, first walk with a trimmer, then wet your face and razor, pour liquid soap directly into the head, close the head and shave, rinse the razor and face periodically and add liquid soap . I do this and with my very stiff and thick stubble, everything shaves off perfectly.
Let’s see how it is with reliability…..

Comment: I bought my father this razor for a day birth. A month later, I ordered a cheap GALAXY LINE GL4161 clipper, gave it a try. So he immediately put the razor in the far drawer and asked to give him this machine. He said that it was more convenient, easier, more precise. I had to give him this machine.

Pros: The razor is a bomb. I have long wanted to buy a new one, because the old Philips has already become almost useless. I shaved my weekly stubble in 3 minutes. Doesn’t shave very well on the neck, needs a little more movement, but overall OK. Excellent case included. The trimmer is great. Let’s see how it will show itself in the process, but in general, fire.

Disadvantages: I don’t understand why there is a user manual. It does not carry any payload from the word at all.

Comment: The razor was partially charged out of the box, but did not turn on until it was fully charged. It is not clear why the second button is used, there is not a word about it in the manual. What the indication means is also unclear (except for the charging process). Express delivery in less than a couple of hours.

Benefits: Close and comfortable shave. Forget about cuts and irritation. High speed of work of knives.; The design allows to shave cleanly even a three-day rigid bristle. The main thing is to choose the right direction of shaving.

Disadvantages: Shaving takes more time than with a razor.

Comment: I really liked the razor. Expensive, of course, but worth it, especially since it should be enough for a long time, only the knives need to be changed in time. The kit includes a brush for dry cleaning, a cover, a trimmer. Everything you need, including a business trip. Charges fast

Braun Series 7 70-B1200s selected in rating:

Braun Series 7 7865cc Wet&Dry Shaver Review

There is not a single man who, at least once, did not finally get tired of the need to shave cleanly or, on the contrary, carefully care for his beard. And since you need to take care of yourself every day anyway, you should at least find a way to make this procedure less tiring and lengthy. In the end, it all comes down to getting a good razor. If we imagine a hypothetical “ideal” model, then it should be comfortable, suitable for shaving in any way (wet or dry), be autonomous, that is, not depend on a power source and have additional useful functions. Just such a device was created for you and you can buy the Braun Series 7 7865cc Wet&Dry electric shaver on our website right now.

Quality and capability confirmed

Strictly speaking, this portable device is not unique, but represents an entire line of electric shavers of the very popular SERIES 7. Just another variation to make your choice wider. Choose the perfect personal shaving complex, taking into account all the features and proposed technical solutions:

  • Wet and dry shaving. A man chooses the most comfortable shaving method based on his own preferences and Braun leaves the decision to you, without limiting anything. The razor has a sealed body that reliably protects the internal systems and mechanisms, so it can be used not just on wet skin treated with gel or shaving cream, but even in the shower. It is also easy to clean the shaving head of stubble residue by rinsing it under running water.
  • SkinGuard technology. Sharp blades work efficiently but are completely safe as they are well protected by the OptiFoil mesh. The ActiveLift trimmer handles even the finest hairs (up to 0.05mm thick) by lifting and guiding them under the blades.
  • Smooth and precise. They are achieved with every movement of the shaving head. The cutting elements of the shaving head move smoothly, repeating exactly the slightest bend of the chin – at once 8 degrees of freedom, which the MacroMotion system gives.

Automatic power adjustment

The shaver automatically increases power (SyncroSonic system) if the blades hit an area with particularly thick bristles. In this way, it is possible to ensure a uniform and accurate trimming of the hairs. In addition, this feature helps to save energy, thanks to which the manufacturer guarantees up to 60 minutes of continuous operation of the device without the need for recharging!

Charging Station Clean&Charge

This razor literally cleans itself! When you put it on the next recharge, the proprietary Clean & Charge system comes into action, which makes sure that the blades are in perfect condition again for the next session.

Battery for Apple iPod Touch 6 1000mah

  • Approximately 600 charge-discharge cycles until the battery capacity reaches 70%
  • Service life of at least 2 years
  • Can be charged at any time and does not have to be completely discharged (no “memory effect”)
  • Low self-discharge characteristic of high-quality lithium batteries
  • Has a built-in charge controller that protects against overheating and overcharging.

All batteries are safety tested and certified, ISO 9001:2008.

All recommendations and warnings apply to Li-ion, Li-polymer batteries only.

Charging

  1. How do I start using a new battery?

Lithium battery must be charged before first use! Only new Ni-Cd, Ni-MH batteries are discharged before use, while lithium batteries need to be charged!

It is recommended to make three full charge-discharge cycles for the device to determine the full capacity of the battery. Each cycle includes charging for at least 3 hours and then completely discharging the battery.

Do not leave the battery empty, charge the device immediately. These cycles are necessary for your device to use the full capacity of the new battery.

  2. How to charge the battery?

Use the charger and cable supplied with the device, regardless of the capacity of the new battery (more or less).

Fast charging does not depend on the battery, if the device supports it, it will also work after replacing the battery.

  3. Memory effect

None (does not require “training” and “calibration”), but several charge-discharge cycles are required for a new battery (after replacing the old one).

Storage

  1. Date of manufacture

Date of manufacture is indicated in the serial number. Example: C11x04xx or A11x04xx – 2019 4 months, C12x06xx or A12x06xx – 2020 6 months. From 2022, 2202Nxx is indicated, where 22 is the year, 02 is the month.

  2. Shelf life

A battery charged to 30-50% can be stored for no more than 2 years at a temperature of 0 – 25 °C. In this case, the battery loses no more than 4% capacity per year.

Service life

  1. Causing battery damage

Very hot during charging or use. For example in the sun, near heaters. This does not apply to natural heating during charging or operation.

Heavy duty. They do not reduce the resource as much as other reasons, but frequent loads can significantly reduce the service life.

Cold charger. Charging the battery when the temperature is below 5° greatly reduces the resource.

Mechanical damage. Damage to the sealed packaging of the battery increases the risk of complete failure.

Storage in a discharged state. Also, long storage with the battery connected drains it faster and often the device can no longer charge it.

Incompatible charger. A charger with a lower capacity can charge more slowly and also reduces the resource.

The battery is defective, signs

  1. Discharges quickly

Turns off abruptly, it was 50% and immediately 20% most often this is due to a battery malfunction.

  2. Won’t turn on

Diagnosis required, but battery replacement does not always solve the problem.

  3. Not charging

Finding the cause of the problem in order of verification:
    1. change the cable,
    2. change the charging adapter,
    3. clean the charging port on the device itself,
    4. change the battery.

Safety

  1. What is the danger of the battery

The absence of damage and stress in the operation of the battery practically guarantees its safety. The degree of assurance is illustrated by the following comparison from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration:
    • the chance of becoming a victim of lightning during a person’s lifetime is about 1 in 13,000;
    • 1 in 10,000,000 chance of accidental ignition of a lithium-ion battery. Read more in this article.

  2. Battery swelling

Why this happens, how dangerous it is and what to do about it, read in this article.

  3. How to Extinguish Batteries

Learn more about how to prepare for extinguishing in this article.

Disposal

  1. How to store and prepare for disposal

Keep out of reach of children and animals! Before you dispose of your smartphone or cell phone battery, keep it away from children and pets. The consequences can be dire.

Remove external risks. Keep the used battery away from moisture and heat sources (do not place in bathrooms, near heaters, etc.).

Eliminate short circuit. Tape the contact area on the battery to avoid the risk of a short circuit.

Place in container . If you have several batteries, then place them in a dielectric container – a cardboard box, plastic or polyethylene container in order to avoid contact with electrically conductive materials.

For different – different containers. Avoid mixing Lithium-Ion, Nickel-Metal Hydride and Alkaline batteries in the same box when storing. Dispose of them separately as well to avoid a flammable chemical reaction if the housings leak or burst.

  2. Where to return

You can see the nearest point here, for batteries, select Boxy points.

Also in Moscow, upon delivery or at the point of issue, it can be handed over for recycling (please inform us when placing an order).

The Panasonic Arc 5 is a five-shaving element shaver that packs a punch in terms of power, even more so than the Series 9.

The Bar 9.1 is not your traditional soundbar. Sure, it looks that way at first, with an elongated design that sits under your telly and a wireless subwoofer for added low end. But each end of the soundbar is a speaker in its own right that can be detached and placed behind and to the side of your seating position for proper surround sound. Said speakers are true wireless and battery-powered, too.

In other words, this is a soundbar and surround set-up in one.

It’s an ingenious design that lets it fill the room with sound better than almost any other soundbar available. Dolby Atmos comes as standard, as does DTS:X, Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2 and Chromecast support.

It’s not without its downsides, however. Its dynamics sadly aren’t up to much, while the bass quality can’t hold a candle to the best in class. Which can detract a little from what you’re watching.

Still, for versatility, there’s nothing like it around, giving you almost endless ways to set up depending on what you’re watching and as your viewing situation changes. And with £200 off, it’s better value than ever.

A TV stand and entertainment center has an incredible power to make or break a living room design. It can be a trim detail that ties your room together in a neat look. Or it can be a statement piece, unashamed of its size and scale. Either way, it will provide a fine pedestal for your television. Or at least be an elegant home for that bland tv box, your blinking wi-fi router or your collection of gaming consoles.

There are a lot of things to consider when choosing a TV stand for your home. If you know just what you need, some of our entertainment center units can be combined for a tailor-made media center that suits you and your appliances best.

How to choose your TV stand height

When deciding which TV stand to get, a key consideration is how tall it needs to be. This is dependent on the size of the TV and on the height of, and distance to, your seat.

Here’s a quick guide on how to think about TV stand size and how to measure for it in your home.

How to find the right size TV for your stand

You can’t choose the right entertainment center without first considering your TV size and your seating arrangement. For the best possible viewing experience, you want to have your screen further away the larger the screen (and vice versa). And this will be true whether you’re trying to optimize your home cinema installation or just want a nice piece to support a smaller screen. To figure out what size TV you need (or where to place your seat) do the following:

    1. Measure the distance (in inches) between your seat and the place where you want your TV

    2. Divide the number by 1.6

    3. Round off the resulting number to the nearest screen size

Let’s say you sit 98″ from your TV. If so, you divide 98″ by 1.6 and you get 61.25. The recommended screen size of your new TV would therefore be around 60″. Or, if you already have a 32″ screen, you should probably move your sofa about 40″ closer.

How high up should you place your TV?

The middle of the TV should ideally be aligned with your eye line. Because, if you place the TV too high or too low, you’ll strain your neck by tilting your head to compensate. When sitting in your regular watching position, you should be able to keep your neck neutral while watching.

Since all of us come in so many wondrous heights, shapes and sizes, the ideal height is going to vary a bit for all of us. But a good way is to approximate your eye-level when in your preferred watching position and try aligning the middle of the TV accordingly.

Once you know this, the height and size of your perfect TV stand should be a lot easier to choose. Maybe you will find an entertainment center piece that’s the perfect size and height for your living room. Or maybe you discover that you should wall-mount your screen instead, which allows you to get a smaller and more discrete TV cabinet just for storing your appliances.

    modern style, straight, angled

Modern TVs are thin and can be hung on the wall. But not everyone likes this idea. Another TV screen can be put on a specially designated place in the cabinet furniture – the wall. But this option does not suit everyone. A TV stand in a modern style is considered more relevant. It is compact, can be of any style, size and shape.

    Determine the dimensions

Dimensions of the TV cabinet are limited, perhaps, by the available free space. The only thing you should probably avoid is that the length of the furniture is less than the width of the TV. In this state of affairs, there is a high probability that when passing by, you can touch and push the screen. If the dimensions of the bedside table are larger, willy-nilly, you will have to go around the obstacle along a large radius, so that the TV will be safe.

TV stand available in various heights. Conventionally, they can be divided into three categories:

When choosing the height of the cabinet, you should remember that for comfortable viewing, the TV must be located at a certain height. This height depends on the size of the screen and the distance the TV is from human eyes. In general, it is assumed that the middle of the screen should be at the level of the human eye.

How to choose the height of the TV cabinet

So, first of all, decide how high a modern-style TV cabinet should be. Next, measure the length of the TV and the space you can allow for this type of furniture. This will help determine the minimum and maximum dimensions of the TV cabinet. In the store, these numbers will come in handy. Showrooms have a large area, which makes the furniture seem smaller than it really is. Focusing on the available measurements, it will be more difficult for you to miss the choice.

    Functionality

TV cabinet can have open and closed shelves, drawers. Previously, cassettes, disks, and other similar “trifles” were stored here, but today this is irrelevant. All these attributes have almost disappeared from everyday life. But a large number of different chargers and other small and not very gadgets have appeared, which are difficult to determine the place. Perhaps the shelves and drawers near the TV are what you need.

Medium height TV cabinets available in any style

TV cabinets with open shelves are visually perceived as “lighter”. But we must remember that dust collects on the shelves very quickly. If you are ready for daily cleaning, you can choose a model with a large number of shelves. If regular care is not your forte, it makes sense to choose an option only with drawers or closed shelves.

    What it is made of

If the modern style TV stand is purchased separately, it is matched to the existing furniture in style, color and material. There will be no problems if your furniture is made of chipboard (laminated chipboard). It is from this material that such products are made in most cases. If the furniture is made of MDF, everything is a little more complicated – different companies make different facades, but here you can find similar products.

When you go shopping, it’s a good idea to bring some small piece of your furniture. This will help to accurately determine the color and texture. If there are no small details, there is another option – remember the name of the finish of your furniture (for example, dark walnut, mahogany, etc.) and have a photo. Standard colors, if different from different manufacturers, are insignificant. If the TV stand is separate from the rest of the furniture (and usually it is), no one will notice such a difference. A photo will help to more adequately assess the match in style.

TV cabinets are made from traditional materials: wood, chipboard, MDF, glass and plastic

You can also find options made of glass and steel pipes, glass and plastic inserts. It is unlikely that your rest of the furniture is made of similar materials. So you need to look at how the new item will be in harmony with the rest of the situation. Before buying, be sure to check the bearing capacity of a similar design. In products made of chipboard and MDF, it is not prescribed, as they are high, but glass shelves have weight restrictions. Modern TVs weigh a little, but be careful. Your weight must not exceed the maximum permissible load.

If your cabinet furniture has glass inserts, it makes sense to look for glass of the same texture or color. The same applies to metal parts – it is desirable that they match the existing type of finish.

If the found TV stand in a modern style does not quite harmonize with the environment, you can correct the situation by using some accessories, additions that combine elements of new and old furniture. This will help bring everything together into a single ensemble.

    Design features

It is very difficult to use corners rationally. One possibility is to put the TV screen in the corner. In this case, you need a corner TV stand in a modern style. The shape of the cabinets installed in the corner can be pentagonal or triangular. The most common are pentagonal. The depth of their central part is solid, so the usable volume will be much larger than that of the “direct” counterparts.

Corner TV cabinets available in pentagonal and triangular

Models with a triangular base are suitable for small apartments. They take up much less space, thanks to which they will fit into a small free space. Small size – low material consumption, low cost. If you are looking for an inexpensive TV stand, take a look at these models.

There are also TV cabinets with built-in brackets. If you install a similar model, it seems that the TV is hanging on the wall. In fact, he keeps on the rack. In order for the whole structure to be stable, the cabinet itself has a solid size and it is usually made of chipboard, since the material is the heaviest, and the mass is needed so that the structure does not turn over. When choosing furniture of this type, pay attention to the weight of the screen that the design can hold. It is important.

    TV cabinets with screen brackets

This option is good for walls with low bearing capacity and it is dangerous to hang the TV on the wall or in the right place on the mortgage that can support the weight of the screen.

A hanging TV stand in a modern style will perfectly fit into a modern interior. But this option is exclusively for walls with good bearing capacity, since the entire mass – both the cabinet and the screen – falls on the wall. Due to the lack of legs, it seems that the furniture is floating. Due to this, the massive structure does not look so heavy.

TV stand without legs. Actual for modern laconic interiors

Hanging TV cabinets are mounted on powerful brackets. Even so, they should not be loaded with a lot of things. In addition to the TV set itself, you can put a couple of decorative elements, and put a few gadgets.

    TV cabinet sizing tips

Selection of TV cabinet size and materials is determined by factors such as the area of the room, the diagonal and type of TV (flat panel or bulky projection), viewing position (behind the table, from the sofa, chair ). A convenient location will determine how comfortable it will be to watch your favorite programs, series or films: after all, an incorrect anatomical position of the body in just 2 hours of screen time can lead to clamps, muscle stiffness, fatigue and headaches. Use the formula on how to calculate the size of a TV cabinet and choose the right model in our catalog.

How to best place your TV

There is a universal formula that will allow you to place your TV optimally and avoid unnecessary strain on your back, neck and eyes while watching. The center of the screen should be at the eye level of the seated viewer, plus or minus 10-15 centimeters in any direction. Of course, it is impossible to calculate specific measurements down to a centimeter – but this is not required: especially if you plan to watch TV not alone, but with the whole family and even with children, and not only sitting, but also lying on the couch

TV stand, dimensions and its configuration directly depend on the size of the equipment itself. It is obvious that in a small room it is inappropriate to place a huge TV on half the wall: you simply do not have enough length of the room for comfortable viewing. How far away from the viewer should the screen be? It is most convenient to watch a movie or a program if the distance to the image is related to the size of the screen itself.

    • If there is between 110 and 230 cm between your viewing position and the TV screen, then you should not choose a TV with a diagonal larger than 30″. Accordingly, the cabinet for such a small screen can be of the minimum size, exactly for this gadget.
    • Distance of 1.6-3.2 meters from the screen allows you to choose a diagonal of 42″.
    • TV 50 “it makes sense to buy if you have a space of 1.9-3.8 meters from it to the sofa.
    • A huge 60″ screen will be convenient to watch only if you sit at a distance of 2.3-4.6 meters from it.

How to choose the size of the TV cabinet

The height of the floor and hanging TV cabinets have a similar calculation formula. Whatever the configuration and model of your furniture, the most important thing is to successfully position the screen in relation to the level of view. If the display is too low or high, then the image will glare, and you will experience discomfort in the body.

    TV stand height

The height of the floor stand can be easily calculated using the formula:
    h viewing area – (2/3 h TV screen) – h TV legs.

Viewing height is the level of your eyes when you are sitting on a sofa or chair in front of the TV. This parameter can be taken as an approximate one, so that it is convenient for other family members or guests, and children (whose gaze level will naturally be lower) to look at the screen, and even from a lying position.

    TV stand height

Hanging cabinet attached to the wall and looks like it is suspended in the air. This design looks lighter, does not weigh down the interior, so it is great for small spaces. In addition to style, the advantage of hanging furniture is its practicality: cleaning is easier and faster with it, since there are no legs that would interfere with access.

The calculation formula will be the same as for floor furniture. The difference lies in how roomy the drawers and shelves can be made: if you use the entire height with the dimensions of the cabinet to the floor, then the hanging furniture will always be smaller in volume.

What is the height of furniture for TV

The most common parameters of a floor cabinet are 25-40 cm. This height is optimal for most rooms and modern models of television equipment. If it doesn’t seem enough for you, you can use a bracket or hanging TV stand.

Plasma TV is watched from a great distance, so the accuracy of the calculation in the dimensions of the pedestal under it is not required. As a rule, the height of furniture for plasma is about 40-55 cm.

Recommendations for choosing furniture for TV equipment

What dimensions should be for a TV cabinet for your apartment, only you determine. If it is important for you to use furniture with the widest possible functions, then pay attention to models with additional storage spaces, drawers, shelves. This will allow you to place in the cabinet not only things related to the movie viewing area. Thanks to this, you can minimize the amount of other furniture in the room and unload the space without losing functionality.

I can recall a time as a schoolboy when we were studying geometry. I could not fathom how this was ever going to be useful to me in my life, but of course, it was and continues to be. Apparently the engineers at Kicker were paying attention in those classes too, because they have put a fundamental principle of geometry to good use. We learned, way back then, that a square of a given size will always have more area than that of a circle of the same dimension – exactly 27.33 percent more, regardless of the relative dimension. subwoofer Kicker S15L7 | magazine AvtoZvuk

    Mark GASANOV, measurements: Yuri YEVTUSHENKO

We began to remember what living creatures were and are in rotation in our industry. Raccoon – was. The American Eagle was and is. Spider – and completely calloused his eyes. It’s strange why the octopus was ignored…

A powerful, high-tech animal (reactive principle, after all), spectacular in appearance and, what is important, tasty if you know how to cook. All the principles of building a high-quality mobile audio system are evident.

Square “Kickers” come to us in the test is not the first time, amazement at the design of the speaker was replaced by enlightened interest. Square “Solobariki” is still not like the others. They tried to copy the main feature – a square diffuser (where are they, copiers, now?), They tried to outdo it by making the diffuser triangular (the same question remains valid), but these attempts did not leave the format of banal monkeying, because they remained behind the scenes (as follows from the fate of the mentioned attempts) technological aspects of the “exit from the circle”. The fact that they remained in the frame at Stillwater Designs also follows from practice, we can judge this by the results of acquaintance with other “squares”.

The fact is that during operation the diffuser, even if it is a surface of revolution, tries to lose its original shape. And if not rotation, then with particular success. Look: the corners of the square are more distant from the center, which means that with the same distributed force from the side of the suspension, it will deform more. This is on the one hand. And on the other hand, the square is not flat, it has a break along each diagonal, in other words, a stiffener. Then it turns out the other way around: the suspension at the corners of the square should be stiffer.

So what to do? How and how much, in grams and millimeters? It turns out that the bending deformation of the diffuser must be modeled in the most serious way, not on a calculator. And if the diffuser is not of a simple cross section, then the task becomes more complicated, then not even on a personal computer. At the same time, it is necessary to calculate the elastic resistance of the suspension and, according to the requirements, set its shape. Moreover, the suspension is not straight and not even circular, but – what a misfortune – it is angular. And, by the way, in other industries, square diffusers are not really needed, there the problem of “too compact” boxes is not at all worth it. In general, most likely, it is the complexity of this task, and not patent restrictions, that discourages almost all manufacturers from bothering with “squares”. Fortunately – “almost”, but not for everyone. And those who were not beaten off, performed the necessary deeds with success, the degree of which can be confirmed instrumentally.

Square “Solobariki” have been known for a long time, in the spring six years have passed since their first appearance in public. They seem to be divided into two parts: everything above the centering washer is square, starting from the washer, and down is round. The current L7s are housed in a die-cast chassis, with each of the four spokes now featuring plate-like “gills” like the Kicker amp caps. The case, I must say, is not completely devoid of resonances, but they all start far beyond the operating range of the subwoofer – by ear somewhere from 500 Hz. The rounded shape of the lower washer of the magnetic system reveals the presence of an annular groove. The diameter of the axial hole is 25 mm, for a 2.5-inch caliber coil, this is even economical. Well, with regard to the magnet, savings would be inappropriate – the mass of the mobile system at the “fifteenth” “Solobarik” – you know what. (Don’t know? Well, we’ll fix that in five minutes.) So the dimensions of the magnet are 178 x 40 mm.

Figured stamping on a polypropylene square (not to forget) diffuser personally reminds me of an octopus ready to attack, as the attacked (must be) sees it – its geometry is complex, more characteristic of living nature than human creations. The body of the “octopus”, as usual, follows the tentacles: the transitional cone, which transmits the force from the voice coil to the diffuser, repeats its beam “cavities” with its protrusions. Thus, the authors of the development not only increased the rigidity of the structure, but also increased the length of the contact line along which the cone is connected to the diffuser. The suspension is rubber, 27 mm – for the “tag” this, one might say, is not the width. But by doing so, the designers saved the diffuser area, which, as we know, is directly related to sensitivity. The degree of success in maximizing diffuser area for a given size can be verified with very simple measurement and only slightly more sophisticated computing equipment. The area of the diffuser turned out to be slightly larger than 0.1 square meters (that’s what measures have come because of the “Kickers”) and corresponds to a round diffuser with a diameter of 360 mm. For a normal “tag”, this diameter is about 300 mm, because the caliber of the head is a conditional value, determined by the overall diameter “for metal”. In the corners of the suspension, you can see eight (the favorite “octopus” figure) ribs, it is they who create the treasured difference, found by the finite element method, in the flexibility of the straight and curved parts of the corrugation.

Centering washer is flat, but the height of the corrugations decreases towards the center. The flexible lead wires are flat in cross section and, by the way, insulated on the outside. Each of them is fixed at two points on the centering washer with thick thread stitches. There are, of course, four wires in total, since there are two sections of 2 ohms in the coil. The windows through which the coil is blown are clearly visible in the photo. There are, of course, eight pairs in total.

I hope I managed to spin the intrigue around the mass of the mobile system, so you probably expect at least half a kilo here. Pardon me, this is still not a competitive SoloX, but a universal subwoofer, slow down at least a quarter. Slowed down? So we got a lot of “progress”: 372 g.

We note as an advantage, albeit not related to the shape of the cone, the decision to make the voice coil sections 2-ohm. We have written more than once (and are ready to do it again) that the 2 + 2 impedance formula is more convenient in practice than the more common 4 + 4, since it gives more room for power maneuver. With a serial connection, a normal resistance is obtained, for which any amplifier will work as a bridge, with separate connection of sections to two channels – everything is also the way, the channel of a conventional amplifier is designed for such an impedance, and a parallel connection of 1 Ohm is already extreme, provided, however, in the specification of many bass monoblocks. Try to implement at least half of this arithmetic by shuffling two 4-ohm sections, and break off – there will be little, then a lot.

We determined the force factor just when the sections were connected in series, as in a normal 4-ohm head. It turned out 21 Tl m with kopecks (kopecks for one tenth, if someone works in accounting). This is a lot, if you compare it with the “15 spots” from group test No. 2 for this year, you will find that only one participant reached this mark, all the rest had no more than 15 T m. So the reference sensitivity is not prohibitive (for its caliber ), but more than. A little later we will see what we can get in the cabin. Nonlinear distortion (you have a table in the same issue, you can check) is significantly below the average for “15”. In this regard, “Solobariki” not only does not require any discounts for “squareness”, but also surpasses many rounded colleagues. In addition, I note that distortion increases at the upper limit of the subwoofer range, and if the cutoff frequency is chosen below 90 Hz, the distortion will be even lower. And you, in fact, were not going to cut above 90, right?

Surprisingly, we could not find the Thiel-Small parameters for this head and relied (usually and not without a sense of self-confidence) on the results of our own measurements. The head turned out to have a very low resonant frequency and low quality factor, which together gives hope for a compact acoustic design. And with a huge equivalent volume, which undermines this hope. What will be stronger?

Manufacturers evaded a definite answer: for SG they recommend a volume from 42 to 170 liters, according to the principle “no matter how much it is a pity”. Guidelines for FI are more specific, with the dimensions of the slot tunnels, we present the results of modeling the smallest and largest.

Following the rule to give guidelines for the most compact SL and the most correct phase inverter in terms of frequency response, we supplement the factory tips with three of our own. The minimum volume in which Solobarik will play normally (even excellently) is 35 liters. If you need more ultra-low bass, the volume should be increased to 55 liters. A musical phase inverter will require a significantly larger volume, 100 liters. To tune even such a volume to a low frequency with a sufficiently large section of the tunnel, it will have to be slotted and long. Taking the same (approximately) section of the slotted port as in one of the brand recommendations, 5 x 40 cm, we get a length of about 80 cm. will be possible.

Subwoofer 12″ SoloBaric L7 is a Kicker legend. There is not much to tell about it – everyone already knows that this is a Square, Legendary, American Kikcer! Model 11VS12L72. What does it mean : – in the box FI – 12 “- 2 coils of 4 ohms Bought in my own box. The box is battered by life – I give it away for free as a load to the subwoofer. Physically, everything is ok with the box. But it wouldn’t hurt to push it. The speaker itself is in excellent condition. Not burned, Not repaired. Even now to fight! I sold the car – I sell the processor, amplifiers, subwoofer, tweeters. The audio system was assembled and tuned by the pros. It sounded like fire! But unfortunately, now there is no time for fat .. Everything has to be sold. One owner! One car! All mine – all working. Any checks. Buy subwoofer Kicker Solo-Baric S12L72 – excellent, powerful, legendary!

The 4 Best PS5 DualSense Charging Docks (2023)

Which are the best PS5 DualSense charging docks?

The PS5 comes with many accessories necessary to provide you with an optimal gaming experience.

One of the most essential components you need for your platform is the charging dock. There are numerous options on the market, which is why it can be difficult to choose one.

The Best PS5 DualSense Charging Docks Reviewed

But fear not – you’ve come to the right place to narrow down your choice. We’ve compiled a list of the five best PS5 charging docks. Stay tuned, and you’ll find out which one comes out on top.

    4. DualSense Charging Station

The DualSense Charging Station is designed to match the PS5 console. The device is simple, but that’s one of the reasons why it’s an excellent choice. It allows you to position your controller with the charging leads facing down, fitting the station nicely.

Unlike some older PS4 chargers, the controllers don’t have to be forced into position, adding a lot of convenience to the whole process.

You can charge up to two controllers using the station at the same time. The charging process is a lot faster due to the USB C fast charging. Moreover, there’s no need to connect them to the PS5 console, but the charging is just as quick if you decide to do so.

The DualSense charging station also comes with overcharge protection. As a result, you can leave your controllers in the station even after the charging is complete, and you won’t have to be concerned about overcharging.

Also, the charging dock uses a simple system that lets you keep track of the charging status. While the controllers are charging, you’ll see a slow orange flash. When the charging is over, the flashing will cease.

Another component that expedites the charging process is the click-in design. This means that there’s no struggle involved with placing the controllers on the station, which is an improvement over some older models.

Furthermore, the adapter that comes with the charging station plugs in from under the backside, and the cable should be long enough to reach a power outlet from a reasonable distance.

The downsides don’t detract too much from the DualSense Charging Station. One area that Sony could have done better in is the number of charging slots. This model has just two, meaning that if you have more controllers, you won’t be able to charge them simultaneously.

    Pros
    • Click-in design that allows for quicker positioning
    • Rapid charging and clear charging status indicators
    • Built-in overcharge protection
    • Controllers fit the station perfectly
    • The cable is long enough to reach most outlets
    Cons
    • There are only two charging slots

    3.

    NexiGo PS5 Controller Charger

Many features make NexiGo a great PS5 controller charger. It allows you to fit two PS5 controllers simultaneously. There’s also the special USB Type C dongle that’s inserted and connected to your controller.

Moreover, the controllers can be easily mounted and taken off the station. Owing to these design features, your controllers won’t be scratched as you position them into the charging station.

Also, what makes NexiGo one of the best PS5 charging docks is the built-in protector chip. This component ensures overcharge protection. Once your controllers are fully charged, the power supply will be automatically disconnected to safeguard against potential damage.

You’ll also appreciate the clear charging indicator. The LED lights on the front side glow red when the charging is still taking place and glow green to indicate that your controllers are fully charged.

However, charging your controllers takes a bit longer than with some other entries on this list. More precisely, charging two controllers fully lasts for about four hours.

Also, the USB C port isn’t secured as tightly as it could have been. If you touch your controllers while they’re charging, the USB port wobbles as if it’s going to fall out.

    Pros
    • You can easily mount and take off your controllers
    • There’s no risk of scratching controllers while positioning them onto the dock
    • The built-in protector chip provides overcharge protection
    • Clear charging status indicators
    Cons
    • Charging your controllers fully takes a lot of time
    • The USB C port could be secured more firmly

    2. BEJOY PS5 DualSense Controller Charging Station

The BEJOY PS5 charging station is another viable option.

It allows you to charge up to two controllers simultaneously for a lower price than the official Sony charging station. The charging process is safe owing to the built-in protector chip that prevents the following scenarios:

    • Overcharge
    • Overheating
    • Overvoltage
    • Short-circuit

Next, the design is solely focused on providing you with a durable device. Although it’s not the most appealing option on the market, the charging station makes up for its visual inadequacies with sturdiness. The dock can survive drops from decent heights, and it can’t be bent.

Furthermore, this charging station also comes with clear charging indicators. The green light states that your controllers have been charged completely, and the red light means that the devices are still charging.

As for the disadvantages of the BEJOY charging station, there are a couple of significant issues. First, while the charging time is decent, it still takes the dock about three hours to charge your controllers from zero to 100%.

And second, you need to invest a certain amount of effort into placing the controllers into their charging positions.

    Pros
    • Cost-efficient
    • Built-in protector chip ensures multi-layer defense
    • Sturdy design
    • Clear charging indicators
    Cons
    • Somewhat longer charging time
    • Placing the controllers into the station can be complicated

    1.

    FYOUNG Controller Charging Station

The final model in this best PS5 charging docks review is the FYOUNG controller charging station. You can use it to charge two controllers at the same time.

The charging station is safe to use due to its battery protection function. Namely, when your controller’s charge level reaches around 80% or more, and you remove the controller and plug it in again, it might not charge. This is because the charging station protects the battery.

The charging station also features intelligent chip integration safety. This provides overcharge and short-circuits protection by automatically cutting off power for safety.

Another perk is the compact design. You can easily travel with the charging station due to its adequate size, adding more convenience to the dock.

Furthermore, the LED lights clearly notify you of your controllers’ charging status. When the light is red, it means that they are still charging. Conversely, the green light indicates that the controllers are fully charged.

As for the drawbacks, you may experience some difficulties with the charging process. In particular, there may be errors when connecting your controllers to the charging station. In this case, you’ll need a USB box to connect the cable to the station.

Additionally, the dock has small attachments that are fitted between the controller plugs and the charging station. Since they are tiny, you can easily lose them and render your charging station useless.

    Pros
    • Battery protection
    • Chip integration safety
    • Compact design
    • LED charging status indicators
    Cons
    • Errors may occur while charging
    • Essential attachments can get misplaced

    PS5 Charging Docks Buyers Guide

Now we can move on to explaining the common standards the best PS5 charging docks should meet. When purchasing your charging station, you should determine which one ticks all or most of the following boxes:

    Compatibility

Compatibility is the primary thing you should consider. Make sure that the charging station is compatible with PS5 controllers. Even though most chargers on the market will work with PS5 consoles, ensure that the manufacturer explicitly states that the dock will work with the PS5 version you own.

    Design

While design shouldn’t make or break a charging station, there are several design features you should look for.

For example, try to find a charging station that saves space and enables you to easily position your controllers without damaging them in the process.

    Indicator Lights

Every PS5 charging dock needs to have an indicator light system that clearly displays your controllers’ charging status. As demonstrated above, there are different indicator light options, but what matters most is that you can tell when your controllers are fully charged and when they’re still charging.

    Safety

Your PS5 charging stations should contain forms of protection that will help avoid damaging your controllers.

For instance, a reliable charging dock should have overcharging protection that allows you to leave your controllers even after the charging is complete.

This way, the controllers won’t overheat, and you can comfortably charge them overnight without running the risk of any damage.

    USB Ports

While there are models that have more charging slots, make sure that your charging station contains at least two places. Most manufacturers meet this standard, and some even include charging dongles that offer optimized charging.

    Charging Time

Many producers offer fast charging options, but the standard time it takes a PS5 charging station to charge your controllers is about two and a half to three hours.

Any docks that provide this rate are safe to use. If the manufacturer markets their product as being able to charge your controller in an hour or so, the charger might not be safe.

    Compatible Power Sources

Most charging stations are compatible with USB power, meaning that you can connect your cable to a laptop or console. Just make sure that the dock works with wall power sources as well.

This way, you can free up some ports on your console and store your charger in any place you want, without having to keep it near your console.

    Final Thoughts

We’ve gone through the five best PS5 charging docks available on the market, and now’s the time to announce the winner. In this competition, the first entry on the list – the DualSense Charging Station – is the superior charging dock.

Several features give the DualSense Charging Station the edge over the others. The device has an outstanding design that saves space and enables you to position your controllers onto it without using a lot of force and potentially damaging them along the way.

Additionally, the USB C port allows for faster charging. Finally, the dock has excellent overcharge protection and a clear charging status notification system, meeting two more critical standards.

Therefore, there’s no going wrong with the DualSense Charging System. It combines an excellent design with a remarkable performance, making it the best option available.

business began to look for where to buy glasses. There are few sites with a sale and everywhere they ask to make an advance payment and the cost is different for everyone. I ordered a helmet a week later, I already have a price that is really high, but it is removed from sale in Russia and Ukraine, such prices are probably from here. In general, I select games and play with the whole family, everyone is interested. Every day developers make more and more new games for Oculus Rift Development Kit 2 (DK2). And in order to set it up, I had to suffer, but thanks to Alexei (the seller of points), he suggested sites for downloading games and who to contact to set up points. PS5 dualsenses charging station

Good day, gamers! Somehow we have already discussed the news, how you can charge dualshock 4. The nextgen has been released, and it’s time to find out what the dualsenses charging station for ps5 is.

    Contents

    1. Appearance
    2. Charging speed
    3. Price
    4. What is the difference from Chinese analogues
    5. Why do we need a charging station
    6. Conclusions and comments 90 006

    Appearance

The Japanese did a good job not only over the design of the PS5, but also over all the accessories.

So the charger for dualsenses joysticks has the same shape as the console. The color scheme is also sustained in white and black tones.

There are even Playstation symbols on the ribs, just like on the console itself. All edges are smooth, the design of the docking station is amazing. Beauty in miniature.

    Charging speed

Since the new generation of gamepads now have a type-c connector, the charging speed has increased by an order of magnitude. As the Sony company assures, duals are fully charged in 3 hours.

The battery will last up to 12 hours. And this is several hours longer than the same Dualshock4.

The new gamepads are also equipped with charge indicators. So you will always know when the joysticks are fully ready to go.

In addition, the charging process of the joystick is now always displayed in the main menu of the playstation 5.

Price You can buy both from direct suppliers in Sony branded stores, as well as from distributors.

Choose where you like best. Someone will go to Eldorado and DNS, and someone loves Mvideo. Now the Internet market is also well competitive.

You can compare prices on Ozone and find where charging station for dualshocks is cheaper or sold at a discount.

And you can not buy the original at all. Skilled Chinese have long come up with their analogues of exercises. Where without them. Some of them cost twice as much. Some even have touch screen charging.

By and large. Chargers differ only in design and price. Unlike Sony, which produces original accessories, these docking stations are not covered by a warranty.

The company is not responsible for the fact that the gamepads after charging on the analog will work correctly. Or worse, they won’t fail.

If you want to protect yourself from possible risks, it is better not to skimp on dubious quality.

Why do I need a charging station

So, you probably already have a question: why do you need a dualsenses charging station for ps5? If it is possible to charge the duals from the usb cord, which is provided in the kit.

You didn’t read the article on how to charge joysticks very carefully, go back to it. And if you don’t want to, I’ll repeat. Docking station needed:

    1. To charge gamepads in any convenient place and two at once without unnecessary wires and fuss.
    2. To quickly switch to a new joystick while still playing.
    3. As a beautiful, stylish stand for dualsenses. So the gamepads will neatly stand on the stand, and not roll around anywhere.

If you are not an esthete, if it is enough to legalize one dual to the console, then by and large you can do without a gadget.

I think if they are produced, then there is still a demand.

Yes, 2.5 thousand is not that much money if you bought a Playstation 5. Only half the price for any new game.

    Conclusions and comments

I think that true gamers have long ago acquired such a fashionable gadget as a charging station for duals.

Smart lights home: A guide to getting started with smart lighting: When to use smart switches and smart bulbs

How to add smart lighting to your home

How many tech journalists does it take to screw in a smart lightbulb? At least four: one to do the work (me) while the others give expert opinions, star ratings, and race each other to be the first to publish their opinion. Seriously, setting up smart lightbulbs and outlets are tasks that one person can easily accomplish in less than an hour.

The pay-off is big. I now can control the room’s lights and tune their color as well as turn a space heater on and off right from my phone or even with voice commands thanks to an Echo or Google Home smart speaker or display. It has made my life just a little easier.

    Mentioned in this article

    Aeotec Smart Home Hub

I’ll take you through picking the right smart devices, setting them up and controlling the gear. The good news is that you won’t need any tools or require any special knowledge to do the job. You will need the smart devices and a phone or tablet to connect to, configure, and control the devices.

    Let’s get started.

Picking the right smart home gear

GE Lighting’s smart bulbs are now marketed under the Cync brand, although you’ll still find lots of product marketed under the old C by GE mark.

The first, and one of the most important steps, is to select and purchase the right smart home devices. There are dozens of different products that range from familiar names like Belkin, Philips, and Leviton, to a flood of no-name brands. My advice is to pick a brand you know and avoid the names you’ve never seen before or can’t pronounce. That way, if something doesn’t go to plan, at least you’ll have their tech support for fall back on.

I chose GE Lighting’s C by GE Full Color Smart Bulbs and Indoor Smart Plug because they’re easy to set up and provide a lot of control. The bulbs ended up in a ceiling fixture, while the outlet was for controlling an auxiliary heater in a room my children play in (in the summer, I might plug in an oscillating fan). A dimming smart plug can control a lamp, but don’t use that type with small appliances.

There’s a name game going on here because the C by GE brand is now known as Cync, but you’ll find a lot of GE Lighting product still on the market in boxes with the old name. Either way, the pair of lightbulbs and outlet arrived in separate boxes, but Amazon offers them together for about $60.

Some smart plugs, such as this one, are designed just to switch loads on and off. Others can also dim the lights in a fixture plugged into them. GE Lighting offers both types.

Happily, the bulbs use LED elements that lower the electricity usage compared to traditional incandescent bulbs, and they can also can last through up to 20,000 hours of use. That means it’s likely they will last nearly seven years even if used eight hours a day.

Since we’ll be using bulbs and a plug-in outlet, there’s no in-wall wiring to deal with. It’s neater, quicker, and easier, but there is a serious downside: if the circuit is controlled by a switch, it needs to remain in the on position for everything to work. Otherwise, the smart device will be deprived of power and all our work will be for naught. If you’d prefer to install a smart switch in the wall, the preceding link will take you to a TechHive article—and video—that shows you how.

There’s an easy fix: Switch guards that keep the light switch from being turned off. I like the snap-on covers that are installed by screwing included nubs onto the switch plate. The covers cost a few dollars each.

Smart bulbs need constant power to operate their radios. A switch guard like this prevents the switch from cutting power to the bulb.

When choosing smart devices, bear in mind that there are three major ways that smart devices connect at home:

    • Many Samsung and Philips bulbs use the Zigbee wireless protocol, which creates a mesh network but might need a hub to translate the signal, so that a phone or tablet can control everything.
    • Wi-Fi smart devices take advantage of a home’s wireless network, but can use a lot of power to remain connected. That’s bad for battery-powered devices, but it doesn’t matter for smart bulbs that rely on household current. Sengled, TP-Link, and others use Wi-Fi.
    • By contrast, the Cync gear that I used is based on Bluetooth, although in different ways. The smart lightbulbs use Bluetooth directly, while the outlet uses Bluetooth to connect with the app and then Wi-Fi to control the device.

All is not lost because there are devices, like the Aeotec Smart Home Hub , that can act like a digital clearinghouse for smart devices. This way, a variety of smart equipment can talk to each other and your phone, regardless of which protocol it uses. On the downside, it can add cost and complexity.

Finally, a word or two about safety. Make sure that what you buy has either the UL or CE logo to show it’s been tested. Plus, all that follows is for indoor equipment that will stay dry. If this were to be done in a shed (a damp location) or outdoors (a wet location), I would have needed to use specialty equipment that lowers the chances of the equipment getting wet and shorting out. We’ll explore the details for this type of installation in the near future.

GE Lighting offers smart plugs that can turn small appliances on and off and other plugs that can dim a connected lamp as well as turn it on and off.

    Setting up the smart devices

With the gear and my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 in hand, it’s time to get started. I’m setting the gear up to light and provide supplemental heat for a playroom. As is so often the case, the first step is to get an app, install it and create an account. I did so with the Cync app.

Next, I climbed my ladder and screwed one of the smart bulbs into the room’s ceiling lighting fixture. It has two bases for standard A19 screw-in bulbs, but it’s easier to connect and configure them one at a time.

Because the app can control devices across multiple houses, I had to name my house. Just so there’s no confusion, I called it “Home.”

After passing on customizing the app’s background because all were equally ugly, I picked my smart device from the list that included Lights, Light Strips, Plugs, Cameras, and Wired Switches.

Installing a C by GE (aka Cync) smart bulb in an ceiling-mounted fixture.

I turned on the phone’s location permission and tapped the Set Up button. This was followed by naming the bulb as “Ceiling Fixture A” (it will be followed by, you guessed it, “Ceiling Fixture B”). I named the room that the lightbulbs will live in as the “Kids’ Room.”

Then, I created a group. This will let me control the bulbs individually or together. No surprise, I called it “Ceiling Fixture.”

Nearly done, the app updated the bulb’s firmware, a vital process for keeping it secure. All told, it took about 10 minutes to set up the app and first bulb. I set up the second bulb in the same sequence.

With the lights set up, it’s time to install the outlet to control a space heater to help on the coldest days. My De’Longhi heater maxes out at 1,500 watts, while smart outlet is rated to handle 15 amps or 1,800 watts at 120 volts. If you use an appliance that has a higher power or current rating than your plug, you’re asking for trouble.

A space heater plugged into a GE Lighting smart plug.

I started by inserting the smart plug into the wall outlet. Happily, it didn’t obstruct the outlet above. Older homes with two-prong outlets will need a grounded adapter with the grounding wire connected to the outlet’s switch plate screw. If you go that route, however, make sure that the electrical box is grounded. Insert one of the probes on a circuit tester into the “hot” slot (the shorter of the two) and touch the other probe to the screw. If the tester lights up, then the box is grounded.

The plug has a blue light to show its status and an on/off button. When plugged in for the first time, the light was blinking to show it’s ready. If the light was steady, I would have had to reset the outlet by pressing the button for 10 seconds.

Mirroring the light-bulb set up, from the Cync app, I picked Plugs from the list of device types. Then, I tapped Set Up and the app scanned for and found the plug. I named it “Plug Heater.

Because the outlet uses Wi-Fi, the app scanned and found my home Wi-Fi network. I added my passcode and waited for it to connect to the network.

The app then asked what Group the plug should go into: “Kids’ Room” sounds right.

All told, this took about 10 minutes to set up.

    Controlling the smart room

The beauty of using smart lightbulbs and outlets is that I can now control the individual smart devices or turn them on or off as a group. The Cync app is the center of attention, but it can also link with Alexa or the Google Assistant voice systems; more on that later.

The app showed all the devices under its control, and it was easy to turn the lights on and off with the switch in the upper right. I’m able to dim the lights with a horizontal slider, but the plug is an on/off affair. For controlling a lamp, consider installing a dimmable smart plug.

There’s another trick that theses bulbs can do: change the color and quality of the light. By tapping the arrowhead on the right-hand side of the interface, two colored circles popped out. The left one let me pick any color of the spectrum from the circular slider control. I chose purple, a good color for a child’s story time.

When it’s time to return to the real world, I tapped the circle on the right to pick from seven different light qualities, including Warm White, Early Morning, and Sunlight. The warm Early Morning setting worked for me.

Add a smart speaker, and you can control your smart lighting with voice commands.

But I want to go beyond tapping the app to being able to tell the lights and outlet what to do using my Amazon Echo smart speakers. In the Cync app, I tapped Settings and Voice. At this point, I picked Alexa over Google Home Assistant (they’re equally good, so pick whichever matches the hardware you have.

After signing into my Amazon/Alexa account I needed to select my Profile and allow access to my contacts. I spent a minute training Alexa by saying things like, “Alexa, play music.”

Then, I tapped Add Device, followed by having the app discover the connected devices, which the system found almost immediately. All done, I tried it out by saying, “Alexa, turn on ceiling light” followed by “Alexa, turn on Heater Plug.”

Now, not only are the room’s smart devices just a tap away, but a voice command away as well.

All options in smart lights use energy efficient LED bulbs that use less energy and last longer.  Turn the lights all the way up when you need to and hit the dimmer switch when it’s time to adjust the mood for special occasions, parties or just a relaxing night on the couch listening to music.

Reimagine get-togethers with custom lighting for every room in the house

Use LED track lighting to trace your kid’s racecar or rocket ship bed in gleaming lightbefore hitting the dimmer switch as your little one nods off during story time. While the kids may appreciate them as a nightlight, LED lighting strips placed along the floor are also practical. Use them in your bedroom as well or to really enhance the movie theater experience in your den or basement by adding your own theater style tracking lights close to the floor.

Connect your smart lighting and create atmosphere in an instant

Remotes can be used to control up to 10 LED smart bulbs or light panels. Use the motion sensor to automatically turn on or off up to 10 light sources—all of which will behave in the way you set. For added convenience, the motion sensors can be set to day or night mode, with lights set to turn off after 3 minutes. And with IKEA Home smart, you’re in full control—and not just of smart lighting solutions. Using your smartphone or control of the app through Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit or Google Home, you can also control blinds and small appliances. Learn more about IKEA Home smart.

Apply smart home lighting that is safe, easy to install and easy to adjust.

These smart light LED light fixtures are ideal for confined spaces and can come into contact with fabric—say in the bedroom—since they emit much less heat while using less energy. Installation is simple, with no electrician needed. Dim lights or turn them off and on with wireless remotes or through voice command when linking IKEA Home to other devices.

Automation of lighting in the “Smart Home” – abclight.ru

    Control via the Internet

“Smart” lighting devices outwardly similar to conventional ones, but differ significantly in the principle of operation. Each lamp, floor lamp and even light bulb is connected to the Internet and controlled remotely. You can control it through a special panel that is mounted on the wall, as well as using a tablet computer, mobile application or remote control.

    Sensors

Sensors are connected to the system along with lighting fixtures. For example, a motion sensor that turns on the light as soon as a person enters the room, or a light level sensor that adjusts the brightness of light bulbs depending on sunlight. Sensors can be anything: temperature, humidity, volume or sound level. They provide the system with information on the basis of which the lighting can be adjusted.

    Order lighting automation

Lighting automation is relevant for those who design and sell smart home technology and those who strive to live in comfort and do not mind saving money:

    -1-

value in the eyes of customers, offers unusual technology, earns more

    -2-

    Owner of apartment

pays less for electricity, does not look for a switch in the dark, creates personalized lighting

    -3-

The owner or tenant of an office

saves 30-70% on electricity according to Rusbase estimates

    Night Light

turns on at night when moving, gently illuminates the room and does not irritate the eyes. If the owner got up in the middle of the night to drink water, he would not rest his little finger on the door frame, and his wife would not wake up from a bright light. The scenario is also relevant if one family member needs to go to work when the rest are sleeping.

Switching off lights when leaving the house

Convenient if you don’t want to walk around the apartment in street shoes and check if the lights are turned off everywhere. The easiest way is to install one switch at the entrance – pressing it turns off all the lights at once. More complex ways: use a mobile application or connect the script to a home alarm.

    Order lighting automation

    Dimming fixtures in unused rooms

This is savings without having to constantly turn the lights on and off. For example, a person is watching football, and the light in the living room is at full power, while in the kitchen it is only at 10%. When a person goes to the kitchen for chips, the light turns on at 100%, and the room goes down to 10%. It seems that this is a penny savings, but the system fully pays off in a year.

    Universal sensors in luminaires

Monitor what is happening in the house: human presence, temperature, humidity, gas leakage, air pollution. The information is transferred to a mobile application, which immediately sends a notification to the owner if something is wrong, which means that you can save even more on security and property insurance.

Smart home lighting | Lighting control in a smart home

Country house lighting is an integral element of the infrastructure responsible for the comfort and safety of living. Smart light meets you already on the threshold of the house – as soon as you open the door, the lamps light up.

    More about smart home lighting

    What is IoT concept

is a component of the global system. IoT (translated as “Internet of Things”) – is a global information society infrastructure that provides advanced services by connecting physical and virtual things based on existing and developing interoperable information and communication technologies.

The interaction of physical things is carried out due to the built-in elements of , with the appropriate software, because software is responsible for collecting and analyzing data, device interaction and communication with the cloud. The choice of communication solution determines the method of sending and receiving information, communication with third-party devices. the system recognizes what is happening around, and notifies the user about it through the IoT platform, where the received data is analyzed and converted into a convenient form.

    Smart lighting with IoT technology

IoT concept involves controlling the device by voice or through the application on a smartphone, creating scenarios process automation. Smart light takes into account the presence of people, time of day, natural light. The light can be controlled – turn on or change the brightness remotely, imitate the presence of people in the house.

Lighting devices can be remotely set:

    • rest/work state;
    • brightness;
    • color temperature;
    • color and other options.

Lighting devices can be: incandescent, gas-discharge, diode, and others. Control elements – microcontrollers, sensors, motion sensors, dimmers – those that are responsible for adjusting the light. Smart light can even serve as an alarm clock.

Smart home controller with gsm is an intelligent system that coordinates the work of connected devices, makes logical decisions, the algorithms of which are embedded in the program. All data received from sensors is analyzed, after which a command is issued to smart devices.

    Benefits of smart lighting

Home owners are actively switching to smart lighting, choosing the opportunities that open up with it. Convenience is one of the clear advantages of automated control over manual control. Artificial intelligence lighting cuts energy bills, saves time – all you have to do is give a command and watch how the house is gradually filled with light.

    • Potential and reliability – lighting system designed for 11 years or more of continuous operation;
    • Safety – lighting devices do not emit ultraviolet, radiation, do not have elements containing mercury;
    • Stable operation at high and low temperatures, the negative impact of natural phenomena, mechanical impact;
    • No light fluctuation;
    • Elements resistant to wear during active use
    • High level of light output (up to 150 lumens per 1 W of electricity).

    Smart home lighting control

    Outdoor lighting

Smart technology has found wide application in the outdoor lighting of a private house. Motion sensors, twilight switches, time relays, intelligent controllers help control the light. An example of the operation of a motion sensor – when the owner enters the gate, the lighting devices automatically turn on. If you use the twilight switch, then turning on and off the lamps will depend on the illumination on the street.

Lighting the fence of a private house increases the safety of movement, protects against uninvited guests, highlights the access roads. Lighting the facade of the house helps to create interesting compositions, highlight decorative elements. The lighting of the porch, stairs, doors is a practical area. The right lighting system for your home makes the surrounding area cozy, safe and hospitable.

    Lighting inside the house

The smart light system is available in a huge number of variations. When controlling the lighting of a residential building, motion, presence, light and door position sensors are involved. If you forgot to turn off the lights on the stairs, in the kitchen, the time relay will turn off the power after a specified period of time. Night lighting of stairs between floors is an important part of a safe home. Motion sensors turn on the lights where they detect the movement of the owner, and then turn it off.

    • Nominal impedance, Ohm 2 + 2
    • Permissible power peak / RMS (according to the manufacturer), W 2000/1000
    • Reference sensitivity, dB/W (1 m) 89.
