65 inch TV In feet suitable room size
The distance that you sit will impact the perceived picture quality. While there is no exact specification, it is recommended that you sit around 9 feet away for a 65-inch tv. This distance can help reduce glare on the screen, provide consistent image quality across the entire screen.
However, if you sit too far away, your eyes won’t be able to fully resolve the individual pixels and picture quality will suffer. For a 65 inch TV, 9 feet is about as far away as you should go. If you’re sitting more than 10 feet from your TV, you probably shouldn’t buy a 65-inch TV because it’ll look too small from that distance.
Smart TV
A smart TV is a television set with integrated Internet and interactive Web 2.0 features. When the term “smart TV” is used, it normally refers to a television set that offers similar capabilities as a computer or other home appliance. Smart TV is generally used to refer to internet-connected TVs that can be controlled through special applications.
The term “smart TV” does not refer to SmartTV (a trademarked term that is often used to describe certain interactive interface features on televisions, such as Samsung’s user interface), although smart TV platforms are often referred to as SmartTVs.

How many pixels are in a 65 inch TV
TVs have 8 million pixels while 8K TVs have 33 million. To find the answer, how many inches is 65?
There are roughly 4 inches in one cm, so multiply 4 by 12 to get 48. So, 65 inches is 4 feet 6 inches. Now you need to convert 4 feet 6 inches into centimeters. 4 feet 6 inches is 4*12 + 6 which equals 4 times 12 is 48, then 4 plus 4 is 8 and then you have another six inches. The total comes to 4 feet 8 inches or 148 centimeters. So, that means there are 496 pixels in a 65-inch UHD TV (4320 horizontal pixels divided by 148 centimeters). Multiply 496 by 4 to get the 4k: 19332.
4k or 4K is a TV that has a screen with 3,840 horizontal and 2,160 vertical pixels for a total of about 12 million pixels. The “K” in 4K stands for Kilo (1000), meaning it has achieved four times more resolution.

Modern games are becoming more and more perfect in terms of transferring picture quality, special effects and 3D display modes. However, for a complete immersion in the process, a fresh version of titles and a new generation of consoles is not enough. It is important that the top graphics settings are also provided by the TV. Our team studied the current models of TV panels, evaluated their gaming capabilities and compiled a selection of the 10 most interesting models.
Gaming computers, laptops and smartphones, gaming monitors and keyboards – in recent years, the electronics market has developed several separate classes of devices for gamers. With the release of the Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series consoles, which raised the quality of graphics to a fundamentally different level, TVs also became gaming. Fortunately, most of the advanced set-top boxes are used just in tandem with home TV panels. How to choose the right model? What should you pay attention to?
Resolution and frequency
Unlike the usual smart TVs, gaming options have a more advanced picture display system. Their technical equipment includes a powerful
processor, a large amount of RAM and a separate graphics coprocessor. As a result, the player sees a clearer and more detailed picture. Over the past year, almost all new generation games have natively supported a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels (UltraHD/4K).
In the case of game consoles, the speed of image transfer to the TV panel is also important. In the last couple of years, developers of console titles have been actively implementing a dynamic resolution system with higher frame rates – up to 120 frames per second. Variable refresh rate provides higher smoothness and realism of the picture. This feature, also known as VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), allows the game console to exchange video data with the TV and adjust the refresh rate in real time. By the way, an inappropriate refresh rate leads to vertical tearing, image distortion and trails behind moving objects.
Basically, VRR is NVIDIA’s equivalent of G-Sync or AMD’s FreeSync for TVs. It is important to understand that not all 4K TVs support variable refresh rates, so when choosing a TV panel to work with the Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series, it is worth checking if this standard is supported.
Equally important is the presence of ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) – automatic mode of low input signal delay. It automatically switches the TV to game mode when it detects a signal from the console. Another adaptive technology used in gaming TVs is HGiG. It allows you to choose the ideal settings for each frame.
Ports and bit rates of graphics on TV
Input lag is also very important when choosing the right gaming TV. This is the time it takes for the console to receive the signal that you have pressed the button and send it to the TV for display. Therefore, if possible, it is worth choosing TV panels with a minimum value. Currently, the best 4K TVs have this latency in the region of 10 milliseconds. In general, it can be up to 30 ms: it is at this moment that the input lag becomes noticeable to the eye. Large latency will be especially frustrating in multiplayer games where every millisecond counts. Apex Legends or Fortnite are examples.
Gaming TVs, unlike basic models, have HDMI 2.1 ports with support for VRR and many other picture enhancement technologies. Alas, older versions of HDMI cannot provide adaptive frequency control and minimum signal delay. For this reason, TVs with HDMI 2.0 are not immune to the appearance of various kinds of artifacts during the gameplay. It is also important that an Ultra High-Speed HDMI cable is used to connect the console to the TV.
Diagonal and matrix
The comfort of the gaming process also depends on the correct size of the TV panel. In order to choose the best option in inches, the distance from the sofa to the screen must be divided by 3. 5. For an average apartment, models with a screen from 55 to 65 inches are most often suitable. This indicator was obtained empirically as a result of numerous tests.
When it comes to the display, the best options for gaming are OLED panels with bright, rich colors, high contrast, and infinite black depth. Matrices based on quantum dots are an alternative to organic light-emitting diodes. But models with IPS and VA screens do not reach the title of gaming ones, although they are much cheaper.
Image enhancement technologies
It just so happened that the resolution of the TV, as well as the frequency, is considered one of its main parameters. The dynamic range, known by the abbreviation HDR (High Dynamic Range), is rarely paid attention to, and completely in vain. When watching 4K Ultra HD video, it provides a brighter and richer picture. The presence of HDR is especially pronounced in shooters, where more saturated colors and increased contrast give advantages to the player. With HDR, the gamer can more accurately and quickly distinguish between the shading between the image of the enemy and the surrounding landscape. The speed of reaction to a change of scenery is growing, and the life of the main character may depend on this. All recent gaming-grade TV panels support HDR10 and Dolby Vision.
Ray tracing is another new addition to the latest video game consoles. This improved lighting system is entirely determined by the console and the games themselves. It is available on any TV.
Based on the criteria presented, we have compiled a selection of the best gaming TVs for the winter of 2021-2022 in terms of price and quality. The list includes 10 models.
