When it comes to drying, you have a ton of options, from nine preset drying options to five different temperature control settings, and while it might take some calibration, you can absolutely get your clothes to just the right amount regardless of type. The door is also rather large, which makes it easier for you to get clothes in, something we definitely appreciate, and the fact that it opens downwards means you’re less likely to get the floor wet or drop clothes on the floor. Also, we really appreciate the FlowSense duct clogging indicator, which lets you know at the perfect time to clean your duct so that you don’t let complacency get you and potentially cause a problem.

• Less space. It is logical that one washing machine will require much less space, so this option is ideal for those who do not have much space and are forced to save it – this device will help to do this.

However, this has the following disadvantages:

• Longer process. In practice, almost always washing machines can only dry part of the washed laundry – this means that the other half will have to wait for their turn, and you will have to remove it from the drum. Because of this, all these processes will take longer, and the operating costs of the washing machine will also increase.
• Less efficient . Due to the aforementioned time and energy costs, this choice is considered less efficient. However, energy efficiency classes should be taken into account in this case – if you know which washer-dryer to choose, the energy differences may not be very noticeable. Can the dryer be placed on top of the washing machine?

For those who want to take advantage of the separate tumble dryers listed above, but can’t allocate much space for it, the question often arises as to whether the tumble dryer can be mounted on top of a washing machine. The answer to it is yes, but you need to know a few basic nuances:

• The tumble dryer can only be placed on top of the washing machine if their dimensions are the same or the washing machine is larger. For this option, devices with loading only from the front are suitable, but the option vice versa (installation of the washing machine on the dryer) is not possible.
• Ideally, if devices of the same brand will be used – in this case, the manufacturers most likely have already provided how to attach the dryer to the washing machine, so this process will be both more collapsible and safer.
• The tumble dryer on the washing machine is fixed with the help of special connecting frames or at least by laying an anti-vibration pad. It is not recommended to do this without additional details.
