Canon aims to achieve net zero CO2 emissions from its operations by 2050

We will achieve this by reducing CO2 emissions over the life cycle of a product by an average of 3% per year. By following this plan, emissions will be reduced by 50% by 2030 compared to 2008. We understand that this initiative must be in line with the rate of decline stipulated in the Paris Agreement.

We will continue to look at the targets from a long-term perspective to measure our contribution to a carbon-neutral society.
