Summer Robotics Program (SRP)
The Summer Robotics Program (SRP) began in 2003 to provide an opportunity for FIRST Robotics team members to develop new skills and to propose both individual and team based projects. SRP operates Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturdays throughout the summer months. Students are encouraged to involve themselves in endeavors that require a personal commitment to raise their own standards for achievement and growth. The Summer Robotics Program has lead to accomplishments such as the Lemelson MIT InventTeam wheelchair project and alternative energy projects such as the HHOProject.
The Summer Robotics Program is an extension program of the Upper Darby High School Robotics & Engineering Team that completes the year-round engineering experience for Team 357.
